The GT2 RS is at home on road and track, the GT3 RS is a bit too much on the road. With the full Manthey kit the GT2 RS is still a mighty track weapon. It will go down in history as one of the greatest, just like the 993 GT2.
I love my GT2 RS. I still can't believe just anyone can go out and get one if they have the money for it. It's SERIOUSLY quick. The 3 RS is still one heck of a car, though. There have to be differences between them, otherwise they would just make one - so I think having both is the way to go if you can. I enjoy both the cars for different reasons and I'm very happy Porsche continues to set the bar higher and higher with each iteration.
Great comparison video on these two. Despite my disgust with Porsche for canceling my husband’s PTS build on his GT3RS, he has moved forward with the build with a general paint option. I prefer my GT2 RS over his GT3 RS. I like the simplicity of my GT2 and the extra HP lol Too many dials on the GT3 RS for me. But husband likes that feature, though. I agree, GT2 RS is best bang for buck. I bought mine with around 280 miles on it. It’s pushing 10k miles now. Been on rally’s, track, autocross and daily grocery getter. It’s a great car for anything. It won’t sell it for any profit, but I don’t care. I bought it to drive and experience all it has to offer.
Luxury Price for Plastic The GT3 is just a non turbo Porsch with a Wing and Stickers on the Side. Overhyped Car. It will drop in Value like a Rock in Water once the new GT2 is released.
Demand and availability alone will prevent the price from dropping. Simply put, there is a lot more people who want to buy both models then they have availability.
Im agree with you( i really like how honest you Are about the cars). I will pick the gt2 rs. I think the gt2 rs looks great both inside and outside. If i could change something on the gt2 rs, it would be a rear wing more like the gt3 rs. Maybe not that big, but simular. And I would use the gt3 rs wheels on the gt2 rs. I have for question. How is the gt2 rs to drive in low speed, lets say 30-60 km/t ? I have seen some RUclipsrs saying that the gear transmission could be a bit ‘sticky’ ( im not sure what Word to use) att low speed driving. Robert from Norway 😊
This isn't a "battle" and is just a review of the differences. Love the review of each but don't call it a battle unless you are running them back to back on a track in some way shape or form
you bought the gt3rs just because it was hot/popular and paid too much. Just like when you bought the SF90. Sadly, you'll lose money just like the sf90.
Let’s face it these cars are mainly used on roads, pretending it’s a pure track car it’s a bit silly. GT2 non-RS was the optimal option, they scrapped it to poke ego of road warriors and at the same time make a higher margin on the product..
Dude you are brutally honest. It is so refreshing. Please do more Ferrari reviews like this. Lol.

I agree I’ve had 3 GT3s and this new GT3RS is just way over the top for the street over kill. It’s not a race car
Cant even imagine the 992 GT2 RS
The Gt2 RS all DAY! Excellent video.

So the pinnacle example of drivers cars are best reviewed on their aesthetics? Nothing at all said about the driving experience?

PJ,
Nice review. I’d like to hear more about how they compare on the track. Do you miss owning the NSX?
I prefer the look of the 991 GT2.

What,!!just a porsche turbo without the turbo, shows how little you know, the gt3 is a total motor sport high reving n/a engine the turbo isn't
Thrilling race, love the 992 GT3RS! 🏎️
Do you take this cars to the track?? Would love to see a vìdeo .
HRE wheels on a GT2 RS! Are you kidding me? Should have factory magnesium of Manthey Racing magnesium wheels. This is not even debatable!
it has factory WS wheels

amazing once tuned.
I'd get the gt3rs just based on looks alone and interior. New ĝt3rs is just beautiful
The US market is so overinflated, its crazy
the porsche are from Germany market, they ship into US.
What is the intro music called?
The 991 interior is timeless

I really hope the 992 GT2RS is an amazing car and has all the best features of the 991 generation and 992 generation
In a ideal world, I would blend both into one!
love this guy
Not worth the hype at price points the new gt3Rs I’ll wait for them to come down buy a better value I have the 2019 gt3 im holding on to it for
Now

thats the power of being rich, so I dont have to worry like you.
@@ExoticCarHacks 😂😂rich is relative lil guy... New money people don't ever learn that
I much prefer the GT2RS

Wish they'd make a gt2 now
Gt2 RS!
MORE KEY== MORE CAR!!
Love
2RS - no brainer
I love the gt2rs more
There no such thing as VS when you’re beyond rich, just buy both.
Nobody cares about the width of each key, Why are Porsche owners required to be tools?
🔥
I cannot stand that 3rs!!!!! Its a ridiculous built
The alcantara is 10% of the cost of any leather alcantara is complete shit
Please learn how to say the word Porsche properly, since you obviously have enough money to buy the cars. Wow
please learn to make enough money to say it your way
I can tell that PJ likes different flavors and ice cream. Because it reflects in his cars good commentary.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
