Dominion of Canada’s whistle in this pack is actually the old whistle of Canadian National 3254. 3254’s old whistle is also the origin of the carton whistle.

Believe it or not, that particular CPRR whistle on the real Dominion of Canada does actually sound like that, I heard it at the National Railway Museum during the Great Gathering

That's one of my local lines, and are you sure that's dominion of Canada's actual whistle, because it's never steamed in preservation.

The 3-chime whistle sounding “American” is funny because although it is a Canadian whistle, it’s seemingly always used in American movies and tv shows.

According to the law in the states it is required for all steam engines to have a chime steam whistle and a bell, which is why Dominon of Canada has the bell and chime whistle
Dwight D Eisenhower is in the states but it doesn't
@@cavespider6665 Eisenhower isn’t a certified steam engine to run on American rails which it why it doesn’t have it

The sound for Dominion of Canada’s whistle is actually a very popular whistle stock sound effect that originates from the engine Canadian National No. 3254. The whistle on DoC is 3254’s old whistle sound

Did you get the chance to see all the A4s at the NRM Great Gathering in 2013? I went to that and it was brilliant! I also recommend Railfest, which is also at NRM I think, if you get the chance go to that as well, as you might see me!

It had 12 train but now in this one, it has 6 wth
If you're moving just the locomotive you don't need that much cut-off. 25% is sufficient enough to get just the locomotive moving. Full reverser forward if your pulling a full train and reduce cut-off gradually as your speed increases. Adjust your throttle and reverser accordingly to maintain speed. Going full throttle will make your boiler pressure go down significantly because the steam usage rate exceeds the generation rate. Steam engines, inefficient overall, have more power than you give 'em credit for. Use your keyboard to fine tune your throttle and brakes.

The garret was the biggest british loco, having 2 sets of driving bases, but are all scrapt, but the p2 is going to be built and it will be the strongest and biggest.

Dominion of Canada is actually in a Canadian museum.
The whistle that’s on the Dominion of Canada isn’t really sounding like a 3 chime. Honestly, it would be cool if they put either a hooter whistle or a US southern Railway whistle.
Perhaps it can sound a little like the Southern 4501 which I have seen in person!

It was donated to the namesake country by the uk after it was withdrawn by British Railways Eastern region in the 1960's

Dominion Of Canada has a Canadian 3 chime cause its in Canada and the regular A4 pacific is not in railway regulation in Canada.
