Dr. Peterson thank you for this excellent compendium of strategies on how to best manage what you do and not reveal about any ongoing project. One key danger that you did not highlight is that when you reveal your plans too early, some cad can tweak it and then start to either claim partial or substantial credit for your innovation(s), and can also to diminish or dilute them, by them starting to say "we" or "it is clear to everyone now that..." in relation to your initiative and had work.
I'M A TRAINED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST! (But I don't tell anyone) Actually love your stuff, just having fun.
Thanks for honoring free speech.
Following are Jordan's own words in his own podcast. “The Monster of Self-Guilt: “The Devil is Always in the Details” … “Yeah well, one of the things you learn if you are a clinician and you have any sense, is, also, is also why you don’t offer people advice. But I don’t know what the hell you should do. Like maybe you and I could figure it out together with some really careful thought, but I can’t … most people are in situations that are sufficiently complex, so that I can’t … casual advice is just not helpful. I mean there is a real arrogance in that. The same arrogance as judgement, like.”
Jordan Peterson. Really. See the note, "Sound or visuals were significantly edited or digitally generated."
