just came back from a show at the shrine in LA. This song was the first thing i searched for when i got home because of how i fell in love with it with one listen.
Can confirm. I was at the show too. It was the most gorgeous and powerful assault on my eardrums as I’ve ever had. The guitar wailing at the end was like being transported to another place. So incredible.
That was surprisingly doom rock of Radioh- i mean Thom yorke and Jonny greenwood. They haven't done the "hit the distortion for heavyness" thing since the 90s
Watched this at the laundromat today waiting for my comforter to dry. Listening to a powerful song such as this while doing something ordinary and mundane reminds me to appreciate being a sentient being. It was perfection ❤
Thanks for posting this! It's crazy- so rare to hear a song for the first time and really love it. I was at the LA show last night too, like others here, and ran to the setlist this morning to find out what song this was.
sounds like a The King Of Limbs style track with a bit of A Moon Shaped Pool hidden in it that slowly unravels into a Ok Computer/The Bends style track
Got a real Amniesiac/Kid A era feel to it. The ending, more remniscent of the Bends/OK C., needs the flesh of Radiohead's 3 guitars and bass to really drive the point home. Like mice exploring new territory they have ventured out into the unknown enough to spring back to the safety of home.
Never thought I was going to hear Jonny hit a power chord ever again.
With a les Paul 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
It's always great to hear some chunky guitar action.

It slaps you right in the soul like “creep” (very 2023 version)
@@maxwellk10 Good one to play at a rave
holy shit. Tom Skinner's drumming is so incredible. This song >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Same
Same!
Johnny’s bending with those strings is genius, such a simple nuance but incredibly innovative
This song feels like capturing all RH albums into a whole life chapter with 7:45 minutes long. What a journey… I’m speechless ❤
Thom has some brilliant falsetto, but I really love his lower vocals here
........ at 5:15... watch Thom and Jonny look over at Tom Skinner to hit the snare before launching into full on chaos on the guitars. BRILLIANT.
yes
!!!!!!!!
OH YASSS
This song was face-melting heavy live in the ballroom. A little out of nowhere and amazing.
I love this song so fucking much. It's beautiful beyond words.
Indeed....

Hard fucking Rock: sometimes you just need it
Bodysnatchers would like a word with you!
can't leave Tom Skinner out
@@cerebralwheatgrain101 Tom is what makes this band magical
@@degeweldigekaas they all equally add on to the perfection; the band wouldn’t be amazing as it is without any one of them
I was at this show last night. Absolutely incredible! This song hit me hard and it’s so gorgeous.
Hit me late, after the studio release. But hard. They deliver again

If you ever feel down, remember that Thom's old music teacher said he wasn't "musically promising", or something equally silly.
the chorus is the same chord progression as spinning plates!
Bodies floating down a muddy river. ;)
I don't have the words for how wonderfully, beautifully exquisite this song is.
I was at their show in Ottawa on Jul 16 and this track just punched me in the face. I was astounded beyond words. Absolutely awestruck. 11/10 🔥
OOO MMM GGG. I saw them play this track last night in Los Angeles and it blew my mind. Thanks for posting the 4K version up front 🙏🏼
Same!

@@atlantean1209 yup

lol what a comment
wow i was there! and probably right beside you
Esto es serialmente infinito, belleza sin tiempo ❤
Wow. Fantastic piece.
interesting that across all Radiohead & adjacent bands this will be clocking in as one of the longest songs in their discographies
Thom's vocals have remained so angelic and yet so perfect for psychedelia.
that ending just sounds like a boris track and that is incredibly sexy
Good call out, Thom has mentioned being a fan of Boris more than once.
Don't think I'd ever make that connection but I can totally see that
Amazing ❤
최고!!
7:16 👽
is that even allowed?
This songs reminds me of Burn the Witch... feels like a prequel or sequel to it.
7:15 a rare sighting of jonny's eyes while playing guitar

Guitar that Bass
al fin se pusieron las pilas con el rock
At points it sounds like Thom is gonna sing like spinning plates. Anyone else hearing that?
Yes!
holy smokes
Fuzz petal Barre chords
Please save this one for the next Radiohead album. 🤞🤞
Thom Slappa da bass mon
Bend the13gstring and your jony blowwood wheres the armbrace it isnt android light heavy
John Travolta.
unfortunately the sound is not great, especially with Tom Yorke's voice :/
Love this song. But his live voice... omg. Pitch and timing errors, can't enjoy it.
Then your not a RH fan
@@kayk8389 K thx for letting me know
@@Tortuosit🤡
That’s literally what makes him unique, his voice doesn’t need to be on pitch to sound fucking beautiful
