As I watched this scene you’re right she enters on passenger side and exits on the driver’s side…but they shot the scene from the left side where Micheal is,so for convenience her character gets out on the left too instead of going all the way around the truck.

For the budget and what they had to pull off at the time without CGI, they did really well with the stunts and effects.
