The issue was whether or not it was planned. There is nothing online about how Guscott felt about the tackle. If it was unplanned, that could’ve been very dangerous. If it was planned it would’ve been practiced. Man used to play rugby though so I doubt this wasn’t thought ahead at least a little. 🤷♀️
I remember when Series 3 was repeated in 1995, during the closing credits, a voice over was heard saying 'That was a repeat from 1994 and Shadow is no longer a gladiator'. A shame Diane Youdale (Jet) left, and I really don't blame her. Pyramid was an extremely dangerous game, and she could have got killed and could have been left crippled for the rest of her life. Accidents and injuries happen easily on Gladiators. Remember kids, don't try it at home.
Can say that again, his latest thing was being jailed as part of a gang that beat the shit out a targeted guy and extorted him for months!@@stinameaner
I remember a contender had to leave the show early after crashing into someone during the ball game seen at No1. I remember John Sachs during the credits would say "Do not attempt to recreate any of the games you've seen tonight on Gladiators. Both gladiators and contenders and gladiators have been trained, and safety equipment is mandatory." That's how I learned the word mandatory...
They should really reiterate that at the end of each episode of the new series even if it's just Bradley or Barney saying it before the closing credits
Will always remember Panther's absolutely horrific fall off Tilt. She was very lucky to survive that as she could have broken her neck. Luckily, the show got rid of that game after what happened.
As I recall, the US version added the game at some point, can’t remember if at the same time or later on, but the platforms were lower to the crash bag and were much more even between contender and gladiator, one was not extravagantly higher than the other. Don’t it lasted that long but was definitely a safer version.
The game came back in 2008 on American Gladiators. As it was played over water, it made Tilt a lot safer. I don't see how they can bring it back without a pool of water. By the way, it was actually Nightshade's accident (she fell off backwards head-first) that ended Tilt's run in the first generation.
They didn't scrap the event until another Gladiator, namely Nightshade, got hurt doing it. I remember she fell backwards off her platform and suffered whiplash.
saying Wolf attacking the presenter was a step too far and questioning if it was real is all the proof I need these guys never watched a single episode of Gladiators before making this list lmao
6:40 This was really the production team fault as they never considered the chance that someone would deliberately grease their legs before THE WALL After the incident the rules were adjusted to prevent future contenders doing the same trick again

When I saw this pop up on my feed I was expecting to see loads of HD Gladiators footage grabbed from my channel (with the watermarks cut out), very surprised to see you went and grabbed the older blurry footage instead from someone else. Glad to see the shows finally returning this autumn after being filmed in Sheffield earlier this year!
This has got to be the most awkward grab for traffic to your channel. 🤭🤭 Either that or you genuinely think that a more successful channel that has been running longer than you have can’t possibly do what you do? I’m going with the first one. Good luck, just the wrong way to get viewers. The irony here is you’ve straight up taken full episodes that I very much doubt you pay for the legal rights to upload, that’s called illegal streaming, so there’s no way you’re legally protecting your own content, which isn’t actually allowed. If I reported your channel now, you’d get a surprise. Don’t be a hypocrite when you’re actively uploading protected material. After a longer one, all of your content that I can see is straight up taken in full form from the original, what exactly did you do other than add a watermark that you’re actually whinging about integrity over?
i loved gladiators wolf and jet came to my school in Dudley west midlands and wolf was mascot for west midlands travel bus pass i also went to nia to see gladiators twice
There should be a Top 10 list for injuries alone. Specifically, injuries that happened on television, so Jet's Pyramid incident and Zodiac's Pole-Axe training accident would not make the list.
I met Warrior in 2004, I was just passing him in New Brighton and he didn't mind me stopping him and was quite a joker. I'm 6ft and he was a lot taller than me, I had to look up to speak to him. Then he signed my autograph and he put Warrior, not his real name.
Jet & Panther's Injuries are less like scandals & More like Disasters, Number 2 Should have been Number 1 in my opinion, The Steroid Scandal was So Hot that even Roger Cook got involved in the Investigation & Questioned Wolf on his (Superposed) Steroid Activities in the edition of The Cook Report entitled "Dying to Look Good".
Shadow was into drugs as early as the late 70's. In early 1995, while on Gladiators, he got into drugs again which led to him being booted from the Gladiators. Shadow then struggled with addiction for another 20 years. In March 2005 while travelling on a 207 bus in Southall, he was found to be in possession of the bus pass of an elderly person & was rightly arrested for being in possession of stolen property. In April 2011 Shadow gave an interview about finally beating drug addiction & wanting to help others. However in 2021 Shadow, was part of a criminal gang whose members were charged with a range of offences in connection with the kidnapping, beating & false imprisonment of Aaron Ali in March 2020 & a subsequent blackmail attempt on members of Ali's family. He was jailed for a paltry 6 years & 3 months. I don't understand how the narrator can sit & say how Shadow has a really tragic story. He's a criminal & it's all karma. I hate having to disagree with narrators. Ever. Heck I hate arguing with narrators, I'll tell you that for nothing. You never ever argue with a narrator. Never.
