I think the reason it hits hard when most of us already guessed the gist of it was because of the nuances in the plot that made it all the more depressing, for example the reason why they set out on the adventure that eventually killed Ortho 😭
Well canon didn’t say it too obviously but I would assume yea it’s messed up. But at least I feel a VERY slight bit of solace knowing that Idia didn’t *see* the worst part happen with his own two eyes, at least he said he doesn’t remember it 😭
My fandub isn’t their complete backstory but I can tell you that their parents did not show up and were not even mentioned in the story. I was baffled at this too, but this writing choice clearly wants to imply that the parents did not give Idia the support he needed after the incident. (Also I saw your original comment for a bit, about Malleus, right? I’m a Diasomnia fan too so I can sum it up for you although it’s impossible for me to fandub it: In the last part of chapter 6, Malleus was spacing out, thinking about two things that Lilia said 1) in 6-52, Lilia said “This might be my last time wishing upon these stars” 2) when the OB team returned from STYX, Malleus and Lilia had a short conversation about how fragile human lives are. Lilia said that human lives are fragile as threads, but they become resilient and strong when weaves together. Malleus was thinking about the “fragile as threads” part and when Lilia asked him what’s wrong, he said it was nothing.)
@@curekibouka_6243 Malleus concerns me the most, as much as Idia is insanely powerful with his UM, we know how he was able to reverse Old Vil back to normal when the effect is supposed to be permanent. As much, I feel that Malleus is chided with alot of things. The worst he is chided in emotional development that he needed.
I think we never see their parents because they didn't cared about their children...like leaving them in a place dangerous as the styx head quarters where there are monsters who can hurt their children... this is being beyond being horrible parents...
@@icecreamwings3106 They broke into STYX HQ actually, in order to secure a means to embark on their own adventure. Literally no one thought a 10 years old child can hack into a place with some of the top security systems in the world
STOP STOP IT HURTS WAY MORE HEARING IT IN ENGLISH 😭😭 the voice acting is so good tho, amazing work!!
Hehehehe making people hurt is my goal ♡
Thank you so much!!!
I was right with the "Why mourn your brothers death,If you can just make an android of him"

It's like a duo character like Luciel from Elsword. 🙂
I like this English voice. 🙂
Thank you
I haven’t seen much of this chapter so far but I’m impatient so here I am.
I’m crying. Your dub is so good.
Thank you, that means a lot to me!!
Go watch the chapter in canon, it hurts more 😌

wait what happened to Ortho exactly?😰
Not clearly stated but I’m pretty sure it’s either he’s dead or he was sent to Tartarus alongside the Phantom who attacked him
One of the phantoms k worded him I think
