    I feel 100% open source is more security than closed source. Keystone pro 3 is the winner

    I had my Ngrave for almost two years. The coin support is okay but the finger print reader and battery life is the worst out of any hardware wallet. I only use it for long term storage because it’s just not convenient for staking or more frequent transactions. Plus they have no desktop support.

      Thanks for the input. I longed of getting a N-Zero but ended up with other alternatives like The K3Pro and the Ellipal 2.0.
      By now, I’ll just wait for the next bull run . By that time, I believe that not only the price will have dropped but a new and improved version will be released by then.
      2023 has seen so many new updated wallet releases from most of the manufacturers.
      I think next year, NGRAVE will be next.

      I got the Keystone pro and really like it myself, the only drawback is a native app. I am still waiting on the Titan to ship but looks like a great wallet too.

    I don't get how you have so few likes, views and subscribers considering the importance of learning about these devices. The only thing that would be better would be tutorials on how to use them. That doesn't get covered enough, especially with so many new investors coming into crypto. I appreciate your channel immensely. And why does RUclips demonetize you?

    Keystone got rid of their native application and recommended their users use a third-party wallet. This makes me feel they are not trying to collect data, and makes me trust them more.

    The EL security categorisation is just a stamp and doesn't mean that Ngrave is more secure than the Keystone, especially that KS is "open source" and you don't have any proof for security of the NG!

      Battery def has room for improvement on both sides. Good news is, from a hardware standpoint, its not an issue. Most of these can be further optimized through software/firmware updates.

    Did you say Keystone requires importing the seed phrase on third party wallets? Are you sure? I mean if this is true, then why do I need a hardware if I still going to expose the seed phrase on a non-cold wallet?

    • @-zerocool-
      @-zerocool- 10 месяцев назад +1

      You connect it like you would a Ledger or Trezor to MM or even better, Rabby wallet, NOT import seedhprase.

    • @Ahmed-Ali
      @Ahmed-Ali 10 месяцев назад

      @@-zerocool-true. There is no seed phrase exposure whatsoever. I think I either misunderstood what Renegade said or he said something other than what he meant.
      I bought both wallets and ended up returning the NGrave Zero and ordering another two Keystone 3 Pro.
      It is impossible to justify the Zero price in the presence of 3 Pro to be honest

    I suppose Audits are no joke, and it does take years to have something open source for what seems to be a small team. Patience on the Ngrave is key. Possible that next year Ngrave might have big things.

I hope you will add more information about the origin of the device and place of production in the future. Thank you so much 👏👏👏

    Haptic technology
    Haptic technology is technology that can create an experience of touch by applying forces, vibrations, or motions to the user. These technologies can be used to create virtual objects in a computer simulation, to control virtual objects, and to enhance remote control of machines and devices. Haptic devices may incorporate tactile sensors that measure forces exerted by the user on the interface.

    The ones complaining about the fingerprint… maybe yall should wash yall dirty fingers or clean yall dirty fingerprints scanner on the device, or maybe yall finger placement sucks and yall not pressing down firmly…because I have had no problem with the finger print scan or the qr code. If the qr isnt scanning maybe get some better lighting or clean off your camera because again, the problems yall are experiencing, I dont have those problems and I own 2 NGrave Zeros.

    • @transporter1668
      @transporter1668 11 месяцев назад +3

      Sure, some people don’t clean their device but not all finger print scanners are designed the same way. Their scanner has issues along with poor battery life. They do release updates to rectify the issues but the improvements aren’t anything to get excited about.
      Glad that your having a good experience but someone that owns almost every hardware wallet in the market, this unit may have a heavy steel case to show its robust but it has some design flaws that they will probably address in the next version. Let’s be honest and consumers make their own decision about the good and bad. Each hardware wallet has its plus and minus, unfortunately for the price they are charging this unit isn’t refined to the level it should be. The initial unit has lots of room for improvement needed to say it’s amazing. They lack basic functions in the application that works for novice users but not advanced users. It’s really designed to be long term storage but lacks staking capabilities. Probably why they are working on trust integration to gain more support.
      It just not worth what they are charging for the unit. Plus they are soo dam slow at rolling out any meaningful changes.

    • @myyoutube5242
      @myyoutube5242 10 месяцев назад

      Tend to agree. It’s a good device but the battery is poor. Which is worrying long term. It’s not replaceable. The fingerprint sensor is also rubbish. They need to improve both for the price and for the next edition.

    • @thekkifirm
      @thekkifirm 10 месяцев назад

      @@myyoutube5242 they’re do updates for the battery but as far as fingerprints, I haven’t had that problem on either one of my devices. Only problem I have is lack of coin support with one coin which they are in the process of adding. Im sure it’ll get better with time, money, and more firmware updates.

    My problem in learning how to use the Keystone today is I don't know the JARGON you are using. I know it makes you credible to those that understand it, but I have to stop your video to look upwhat SIG is and what HAPTIC is. And Metamask site said 1) If you are running any fork of MetaMask other than the standard production fork, disable it now. Add FORK. I use metamask and not sure what they're talking about a fork for. To me, I understand "A fork off of Bitcoin" but never heard I used a fork with metamask. Maybe this type of thing is too difficult to define in a sentence. Not sure. Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to follow bad instructions that come with a build it yourself project.

    • @Market-Maven
      @Market-Maven 8 месяцев назад

      I think I would understand, and more would, if you just gave a quick explain of what SIG and Haptic is. I know people can look it up, but that's frustrating and discouraging and it makes you wonder, how many more words will I need to look up. It seems like if I understood those words already, I wouldn't need to watch the video. It's part of what your teaching, too. But it's not getting taught by you but by a search engine. Not meaning to be mean, but that's MY feedback. I'm certain you analysis is very good.
