I really appreciate your in depth review. You’re the only reviewer I’ve come across that tested the smart contract feature. Question: did it only work for you using the desktop version of the defi wallet? Or did it work using the mobile version as well?
How is the tamper resistance on this unit compared to the old keystone? I remember they had a premium version of the keystone which had an anti tamper feature where if you try to crack open the case it would brick or erase the device but the feature relied on an internal disposable battery that only lasted like 2 years so you’d have to keep replacing the device every 2 years it seemed like.
The tamper resistance is there, but the question of whether it relies on a batter will only be knowable once they release the full source which is apparently coming "soon"
In video 10:47 you demonstrated that you can add a wallet. Does that mean that a person cannot only have a MetaMask mobile wallet, but also a BlueWallet and Rabby Wallet using only One Keystone 3 Pro device? Or are three Keystone 3 Pro devices needed?
I don't quite understand the question. You can use one hardware device with Rabby, Blue wallet and Metamask at the same time with accounts derived from the same seed.

What is the safest way to handle a big crypto wallet? Do you like having crypto in 2 or more wallets? Do you have. a 'cold' wallet which you never connect to uniswap/1inch etc? Or you have no problem to keep your crypto in 1 wallet?
Define big? If you are doing Defi stuff then you probably want to have one account that is dedicated to HODL and another for transactions and stuff. (This can happen on a single device) The main risk with splitting stuff up across multiple devices is that you then need to manage multiple backups... (Which makes it easier to mix things up)
@@CryptoGuide5 or 6 figures portfolio. Can I use the same seedphrase on a keystone 3 pro but with different passphrase? 2 wallets but same seedphrase separated by different pin
Passphrases aren't retained with Keystone, so you enter them each time you want to use it. (And can have an unlimited number of passphrases associated with a given seed)
It's insanely priced when compared to things like the Keystone (As it isn't really trying to do the same thing) , so I won't be buying one and reviewing it any time soon.

Hello thank for your video ....i have 2 Bitcoin Account on the Ledger same seed phrase......when i import it on they key stone i see only one btc account any suggestion?
The multi-coin firmware only supports the first account, but it does support multiple script types, so basically you will need to move the funds manually from the second account using the Ledger.
In general, many/most browser based wallets are susceptible to the same type of attack. That said, the attack was also only possible due to blind signing, which is normal on Ledger and hard to avoid, but can be avoided on Keystone :)
Is it better to revoke access to smart contracts from rabby wallet app like spending unlimited usdc etc? Especially when it's cold storage but that wallet was used in the past for signing smart contracts? It is safe to revoke them right?
Any wallet that is intended for long term, cold storage shouldn't have any smart contract approval, so they should all be revoked... (And ideally do all your defi stuff on a separate account)

What is a "permit" phishing signature? And what is a transfer phishing transaction? And is the keystone defi decoding protecting us from such a phishing scam?
Basically scam websites will often present something that looks like a legitimate Defi service (uniswap for example) These scam sites will then have you approve a malicious smart contract that allows the scammer to simply take all your funds.
I saw that, great that they are finally arriving at feature parity for the previous generation device. That feature on it's own isn't really worth a video, but I will likely do one once the Bitcoin Only firmware arrives.
would you recommend using the keystone 3 pro in conjunction with ian colemans tool to get dice rolls and all the goodies? Or could this cause issues down the road?
The keystone 3 supports dice in the more recent firmware releases, so just use that. I would generally advice against using it with tools like Ian Coleman's tool, as it just creates more ways to accidentally compromise the security of your setup. (Compared to just doing it all on the hardware device)
Do you mean hardened derivation? Basically this just means that the addresses aren't just derived from an extended public key, but require access to the private key. This could be useful in some more obscure configurations where you may need to share individual private keys from within an account in a secure way. (As with a normal wallet, if someone has the extended public key and a single private key, they can calculate all of the private keys for that account)
