Just discovered this song after the little girl sang a cover of it and boy I wished kpop community promotes more stuff like this cuz Im lowkey tired of repeating english words from kpop idols songs just to gain their foreign fans attention.
this isn’t considered kpop, it’s a musical genre called Pansori. :) the genre is culturally significant in Korea and is a form of musical storytelling, typically done with the vocal style here (lots of vibrato, modulation, extreme vocal range) and with simple instruments like drums, string instruments, piano, etc. although this is obviously a more modernized Pansori performance, traditional ones can be super beautiful too! also sorry if this got long lolol, just trying to educate on this cool musical genre and art form and show that Korea has tons of different musical styles! 🩷

She really catch and merge everything into perfection, this far I like 3 of her song, including Changgwi, Night Flower, and Sailing! Hope she does more folk-lore theme like this one!
