Quick Tips - Base Coats and Post Shading

Next up in the Quick tips series is BASE COATING AND POST SHADING. Quick tips videos are a series of short and to the point videos focusing on one particular part of the Hobby each time. They are designed to offer quick and hopefully straight forward guides to achieve some great results. There are hundreds of different ways of doing this but this is how I go about it.
P.S I'm also aware of the MASSIVE seam lines on this kit, its a quick build to show paint techniques on.

Q: At 8psi, are u thinning the paint more ? What ratio ?

just as a vague rule what would you say the ratio of paint to thinner is for the base coat? 1:1....1:0.5??

@@martaaay774 I eyeball it but 50/50 is a good start. Depending on thinners.

Have you tried this technique on a tank? Is it pretty much the same as one an aircraft?

Yes, look at my stuglife videos mate. Well i didnt use the white pre shade but used a post shade technique same, same but different.
