The next Annabelle movie, ANNABELLE CREATION, is my favorite of the films and one of the scariest. Also, I'm still laughing over the thought of scissor-kicking Annabelle. 😂
I know this Anabelle movie didn’t do so well with the movie critics but that elevator scene made it my favorite. That elevator/stair chase scene was perfectly made to watch in the theater. I remember the screams of horror when the lights flickered in the theater and suddenly the demons face appeared right on screen. It made my top 5 best horror movie scene just for that audience reaction. 😅
Annabelle Higgins (born Janice) was an innocent orphan child, she was later possessed by Malthus, the demon inside Annabelle the Doll, turning into an insane cultist

So with Annabel (sorry if this has been answered as I just came across this video) is a doll. A demon named Malthus took the doll due to some desperate parents who lost their child’s life named Annabelle. (She died, and the dad made the doll for his daughter.) the demon pretended to be their daughter and got invited in. The doll was being moved and everything by Malthus but not really possessed. These orphans went to live with the upset father and mom and one of the little girls got possessed by Malthus which is the woman who tried to k!ll the pregnant woman as an adult (she still had Malthus in her all those years and her name wasn’t annabelle but she renamed herself that after becoming possessed.) Malthus, like Valak from the nun and conjuring 2 is just a demon desperate for souls. Malthus likes to play and torment more and valak is straight to business. Once “Annabelle” the little orphan girl that became possessed became an adult and was k!lled in this movie, the demon went out of her and back to moving the doll around and trying to get a new host/soul. Malthus will often pretend and show itself as a little girl with braids because that is who it was first impersonating from the grieving parents. It’s also why it’s named “Annabelle” (little girls name that died, and reason the demon was able to do all it was with the doll.) It’s super confusing 💀
I was 3 when I first watched Annabelle. I wasn't scared or none of that but my siblings were crying hella and its crazy to think about that I've always been a big horror movie watcher. This was one of the first horror movies I watched. My mom and siblings think I'm crazy bc I've watched this movie like 6 times.

From what I remember of the film, the husband throughout the whole thing never actually sees anything paranormal happen… 😅 man must’ve just believed in the end or thought his wife was nuts but played along. 😂
My baby sister went and watched this back on the theatrical release day and she was so mad it was a Magical Negro and a quasi-Black (Lady) Dies First all at once 😅

The Conjuring films are based on real case studies from Ed and Loraine while the rest of the movies follow each other in their own fictional storyline with the only true thing being the Annabelle doll.
This anabelle movie was the 1rst one and it was a total fail, but highly recommend anabelle creation and anabelle comes home they are so good especially anabelle creation, they are all part of the conjuring universe
The real annabelle doll looks nothing like that she is a child sized Raggedy Anne doll and her story is so much more scary than the first conjuring movie made it to be. Not a fan of the prequel for my own reasons but many people say it's their favorite one. All I can say is the only movies in this franchise that impressed and scared me in any way was Conjuring 1 and 2,Annabelle comes home which is the third movie in the Annabelle series and the Nun 2 cause the first one was just annoying. I am curious to see what you think about all of them and they are also working on a new Conjuring movie now so it seems though I have no idea what the story will be. Grate reaction
The one thing I can’t stand about horror movies is when they involve babies in it. Like that poor baby isn’t going to understand that the scary stuff happening in the movie isn’t real and they traumatize a poor little baby for a movie.
If you haven’t watched sinister, you can cause the really good movie. I just didn’t wanna put the channel but it’s really good movie and it’s very very very scary.
Hi Jay! My FAVORITE out of ALL THREE of the Annabelle movies is actually… ANNABELLE: CREATION …It’s really really REALLY GOOD! (Better than this one you’ve reacted to, IMO anyway… There’s a well-constructed backstory and characters that you become invested in emotionally, because of their backgrounds and what they’re dealing with in their personal lives… ANNABELLE herself is even a “sympathetic” character!)
whether there's any truth to it or not annabelle being based off a real doll makes this movie even creepier but anywho loved the commentary since it diluted the scary a bit and with black history month coming up as well as valentine's day i gotta recommend the movie beyond the lights (2014) if you're lookin for something sweet after watchin horror
