These are some of the most famous elevators in Chicago, the awesome Hotel EMC2! I was super excited to be staying here when I was in Chicago. This STEM themed 22 floor hotel has three elevators with KONE's Polaris Destination Dispatch system. The Polaris is perfect here as these three elevators are very efficent, and without it there would be lots of issues.
There are three cars: R, G and B. Each is differentiated with a painting on the back wall of the cab. Car R's is Red, Car G's is Green, and Car B's is Blue! All 3 of these have held up incredibly well. Car B is in the best shape in my opinion as it has no issues whatsoever. Car G makes some disturbing noises when going down, and it feels more worn since it is the only car that serves 0 and only the robots can use car G. Car R's voice is broken, and one of the door close buttons doesn't work, but it is decent overall.
These have custom keypads that I don't think have been seen anywhere else. In addition, on floors 1 and 2 there is a custom storm animation with the cars corresponding color to help pass the time when the elevator is coming. These are some really cool elevators, and I am really glad I got to check these out! KONE, fantastic job with these!

Awesome! I hope to find a Kone Polaris someday. So far I’ve only found Otis Compass and Schindler Port.
