Hair grows approximately 1/2” per month. If you have a a thick spongy scalp (lots of padding), it tends to grow a little faster per month. Your hair has some Auburn. It’s a lovely color with your skin tone. 🌸
I'm glad to find someone who has the same type as I do because everytime I want to find videos on long hair it's usually done by people who have twice as much thick wavy blond hair and I'm glad to have found a hair length I could aspire to without having too high expectations
I am shocked she has not mentioned oiling. I am now doing this with very bleached waist length hair and notice a huge difference. Also twice a week I take a Prenatal Vitamin. But I see oiling as very important for length, my hair is taking off again with no cut on the damage I have caused.
If you want it to wash out easily, coconut has a very low melting temp, so it washes out easily. I have waist length curly hair and have used coconut and jojoba oil for over 20 yrs.
I am 69 and a half years old. I used to have very long hair, but I cut and styled it in the last 2 decades. It is now about 2 inches below my shoulders. I am refocused on growing it out and having long hair again. I am a Christian, and God's Word, the Bible, says that long hair is given to a woman for her glory. I now have salt and pepper hair, but it is mostly pepper! I have some silver streaks, which I find that I like! Please pray for me to grow my hair long again. I wash it twice a week now, instead of every day, as I used to for years.

I want to try the Inky List hair products one day. I’m using Curlsmiths scalp products right now. You could tie your hair very loosely back and just wash your scalp. I have scalp psoriasis so I can’t go without washing my scalp either. I don’t know if you like the look of snoods but they are a fashionable way to put hair away with out and tension. Never tried Rahua products. I have been so tempted. Thank you
@@katrinahabib2958 Hi Katrina, I am 6ft tall, I have been growing my hair for 21 months and I have been trimming in that time. But I so want tailbone length hair. You hair is simply beautiful ❤️. Many thanx for your reply👍
You are such a beautiful woman Sandra! I love the extra footage of the outfits while walking outdoors, they were so lovely to watch and to add interest and inspiration. Great hair health tips too! I'm familiar with many of them, although I did learn about some products I wasn't familiar with. Excellent overview, excellent editing, and awesome job! 😊
Glad to hear other people get attacked by door knobs and such. I have had mine sucked up by the vacuum, I often have a bit roll up in my seat belt when taking it off, roll up my truck windows and get a bit stuck. Getting out of the vehicle and getting jerked to a halt, ticks me off a bit. Getting some slammed in the door of my house or truck is fun too. I have very long curly hair and wish it were as straight and pretty as your. Same color though.
thank you for this video. Your hair is beautiful. I have exactly the same hair type - pin-straight and fine. Even the color is similar but mine is lightened (Balayage) so my greys aren't as visible. I've given-up to heat style it...unless I use a ridiculous amount of heat and strong styling products it doesn't hold a curl. All the effort is gone after less than an hour (even if a professional does it). Not worth the damage. It's about bra-length now and my goal is about the length you have. I get my highlights done every 3-4 month and cut about an 1-2 cm (find a hairdresser that is NOT scissor happy!). For me it also helped to sleep on a silk pillow and keep it braided (not to tight). A lot of hairdressers recommend keeping fine hair short. I can tell you from experience it's not easier to style or keep the volume even when it is short. The texture won't change, so just embrace it. When it's long at least it looks silky and shiny with little effort.
My best tip is to not dye/ bleach the hair. No blow dry on medium or low. I let my ashbrown roots grow out for a year and noticed I didn't get split ends. I go to the hairdresser every 3-4 months (it was very bleach damaged) and now after a year she said it doesn't have any split ends and I can now go grow it out without having to cut it; I don't heat style I only blow dry.
I just got another 2” cut off today. The 3rd haircut I’ve got since end of April. About 2-3+ inches each time. Finally cut the rest of my previously bleached and dyed hair since sept 2020. Last time I coloured it was early February 2021, so almost been 2 yrs. I’m done cutting it now and want to let it just flew!
I had a lot of terrible haircuts as well, before finding my current hairdresser (and I haven't tried anyone else since finding her 6 years ago!). It can be so heartbreaking to walk out of the salon and hate your hair :(
Your hair is absolutely beautiful 😍 My hair is almost the same as yours..just not yet at classic length like yours ..my main problem is the hair sheds a lot..not sure if your hair sheds as it grows ?
Too bad that I have to wash like half of my hair directly with the shampoo since it gets oily and have to use tge conditioner on my whole amount of hair cuz if I don't, my hair gets frizzy so much it scratches me on my neck. Though my hair is now pretty long, reaches my lower back (can't wait to reach my hips 😀). My personal hack for more healthy hair is letting them to dry naturally without blow-drying them. My hair is not perfectly straight, it's quite wavy, and so it gets frizzy a lot. Also prolonging the duration between the washes to a week or even longer helped a lot as well. Also I don't do any hairstyle for like first two or three days after washing them, they don't get too oily then. There's also a personal reason: my hair hold the shape very well, so if I do a ponytail or braids, it keeps the shape even after combing and I don't like the look of those bumps and bulks on certain parts of my hair.
I love this comment, thank you for sharing! Hair care is so personal and not everything will work for every single person, so tailoring the routine to your needs is so important. I have struggled with getting "misshapen" hair and kinks as well from braids, so I have to be careful with how I do it 😊 Thanks for sharing!
that's serious dryness,,, do you have ethnic hair?? well, i can agree that leaving the hair alone for 2-3 days after washing works for me too. but i put some grapeseed oil massage oon the scralp. i just washed it,, it seems Too clean. (it's just very Delicate the day i wash it and let it air dry) the scalp oil will help and in 2-3 days it gets into nice condition, so then i can do things like massages, etc. but Yep,, my hair lieks to be left alone 2-3 days. i think i'm washing it every 5 days. When wet, your hair is still curly, but if u blow dry it goes super straight. This treatment changed my life, never thought I’d be able to wear straight hair without being damaged

@Trinity M Agreed. Some hair types are tougher than others. I have a similar hair type to hers (Scandinavian) fine, delicate, straight and easy to break. You do actually have to treat it like antique lace or it will never get long and stay healthy looking. Same, oiling helped my hair become flexible and elastic again after bleaching it to a level 8 or 9 from a natural level 2 in one sitting. Hahaha.
Lol I am doing the exact same thing! I've tried many oils, and for me, the best one is grapeseed oil
Her hair is long but thin, you can tell she doesn’t oil. Hair oiling grows out new hair which is why it’s more thicker and full

As far as color goes there are color conditioners and rinses that do not penetrate the hair shaft. This is good to use for long hair and mature hair.
What is the color conditioner and rinses called-brands? Thanks.
I wonder if hair glossing would be helpful. it would be smooth, add some shine and i don't think it penetrates the hairshaft
