@@MurderofBirdsImpact In fact, he's actually my most favorite off-field Support DPS in the game. Got him on his rerun this Nov. 25, 2021, the day after my birthday which is also the launch of Patch 2.3 (and just 1 copy of him is already enough even as my late birthday gift). Has one of the very interesting lores in the game which also caught me up as well and motivates me to use him almost all of the time in every team.
recently got albedo on his rerun and i could NOT get back to my time without him, those flower isotomas changed my life

First run Albedo gave me C1 Mona. 2nd run built my pity up for a 50/50 win on Itto. Failing upwards.
@@MurderofBirdsImpact congrats on summoning the free to play king, also the reason c2 albedo is so good is that it makes his burst scale of his defence just like his skill so you can go for a full defence build rather than splitting between atk% for his burst and def% for his skill pre c2
As someone who joined Genshin in August- being able to experience the earlier events with you is so fun! Escpeially with your energy- it feels like hanging out with a good friend who's just as into my hobbies as I am!

Hey Murder! I just wanted to say that for the most recent 2.3 update for the Dragon Spine event, I was hoping for Albedo and I am a free to play type player so I had thought I wasn't going to get him, when I did my first pull I literally had that same reaction because I was not expecting to have him but when the star things turned yellow I was really hype because that was the first time that had ever happened to me. So overall your reaction for getting Albedo was gold :).

C2 albedo is a game changer! It change the burst scaling to def instead of atk and *I want that cons* my skill already do 15K imagine what I can do with the burst

I swear to god Albedo's first banner was legit the most generous banner. literally everyone I know got albedo so early, even I myself ended up getting albedo on like the 3rd or forth single pull somehow winning the 50/50 AND getting him super early, it was honestly so insane and he's been on my team ever since. That being said that was some crazy luck dude, winning 3 50/50s in a row is definitely something lol

My best friend who is an Albedo/Noelle(Geo In General/Shield) main will be crying of depression and tears of Joy when he sees this... He loves Geo so much that his party literally consists of Gorou, Itto, Albedo and Bennett as the non Geo element for the elemental shield

Hey a fellow albedo user, since day one of his banner he is my main support and now that they buff him he alone destroys everything
Albedo is a good pull in my opinion. Very versatile and his def-based damage is very good for every cursed artifact rng. I lost twice to diluc in both of his banner (yet still benching him on teapot 🤣). I got him in last day of his rerun. And he's on active party with my geo Lumine.
Also Shoutout for our best dad, Zhong Li, Happy birthday old friend. As an old saying, _"A man will soon be at peace."_
Dude I felt the same way once I started playing Albedo he became one of my favorites instantly! Crazy luck dude can't wait for the next :D

My jaw dropped when you got him on your first pull. I went for him on his first banner and lost the 5050 to Qiqi. And then did my only crystal top up in order to get him. He was stubborn about coming home but has been a main member of my teams every since.
(Genshin spoiling him so much lately with his sword and artifact set has been great)

I got him on the first banner and he's my first limited 5 star! I remember the time when everyone was so doubtful on his kit lololol.
I love my chalk child. Man, the lore drop in his update is soooo immense I remember searching up from artifacts to archives just to make up what was his connection to the cataclysm on Khaenriah XD.

sadly i wasn’t playing yet back when albedo’s first banner was out but ever since i started playing (march 2021) i’ve been wanting him more than anyone else. i was saving my guarantee for him after i found out about his rerun actually, and prefarmed everything for him too, but then i was just trying for thoma and hutao came early so i was super upset about it lol (still didn’t get any thomas tho!) i was waiting and i was so nervous, i was ready to spend my whole ass salary to get him if i had to, but after his banner went up i got him 7 pulls after hutao, before i even topped up. man, i’ve never felt this lucky in my life EVER. and then i got his c1 too. every time i think about it i just feel like the happiest person on earth bahaha congrats on you getting your c2 chalk prince so easily too! istg he knew how much he was needed at home 💜

I didn't watch any trailers until Version 1.4. I also don't think it would have much of an impact from where I am in 1.2 anyways. Unless you mean just for people to watch the reactions. But yeah, I did watch them all and they'll eventually be posted.

Yep, I remember that too. It started happening after the Battlefront: Misty DUngeon event, where it let you play with any of the available characters more extensively, and Albedo was one of the choices. That event was a great way of giving people a better feel for characters that they might want for a re-run, and after that, everyone started saving up for the inevitable Albedo re-run banner ,lol.

I started playing Genshin in April and I’m sad I didn’t play earlier but I got Albedo on his rerun and I love him so much 😭 My plan is getting all the characters in Genshin and I just need 8 people left. Xiao, Ganyu, Shenhe, Yunjin, Kokomi, Klee, Keqing, and Venti

Yes, I did, and oh my god, the lore was phenomenal. My entire Genshin experience, included all of the content to date, is archived on Twitch for my Twitch subscribers as an incentive along with access to my private Discord server. But everything I've done has been recorded and will eventually be edited and uploaded on RUclips, but of course, it'll be in chronological order, and thus will take a while to be fully caught up on YT.

I love Albedo I skipped all Inazuma characters for him since loosing 50/50 on Kazuha's banner. Maybe that was overborad but it was so worth it. Albedo is one of my favorite characters.

Arnold lost his mind getting Albedo. I did too. I pulled C4 Albedo in 250 wishes. Boosts my Xiao's dmg. First character triple crowned, first character pre-farmed for, and with his R5 Cinnebar Spindle, he became the highest dmg dealer I have aside from Xiao.
That build tho Arnold...good god.

I’m actually curious, I really want Xiao so does the chance of getting him increase when his banner first comes out, or does the chance increase when the banner is about to change?
There is no "better chance" necessarily. Your chances on get higher the more wishes you do before getting a 5-star. You're guaranteed a 5-star at 90 wishes, or if you're lucky enough to pull on a 0.6% chance. If you get a 5-star and it's NOT the limited banner character, the NEXT 5-star you get WILL be the banner character, but again, that mean you either need to do another 90 wishes, or get the 0.6% luck chance. In any case, just try your best to save as many primogems as possible, along with any Intertwined Fates the game gives you if you're not in a position to put actual money into the game. @@perseph0ne1608 GL m8, im AR58 and Xiao mains, it's so satisfying having him + if u have CC (crowd control) character , yeah he bit underwhelm if u dont have 5* weapon, but thanks for RNG i got his signature weapon(PJWS and Homeless Staff😂) + bennet = my Xiao unga bunga 50k-60k per plunge (inc buff)

So sad I didn't get Albedo on his rerun. I stopped playing during Albedo - Ganyu run... so I missed out on some op characters. But that made me get Xiao which made me get back into the game. Keqing has now blocked me twice on Geo characters... I think she might be Geophobic, at least I got Itto so I have a five star of each element
