Nobody was more upset than Aikman and Buck. They called the game like they were personally insulted the Giants didn't lay down for the Packers.

I didn't get that impression. I got the impression they were shocked at how bad Jordan Love was playing considering they had just beat the Chiefs largely due to his passing and accuracy, and Aikman was going on and on about how impressed he was with DeVito for a lot of the game.
I love that the GIants won but I'm also not naive enough to discredit the fact that green bay didn't have guys like Aaron Jones, Jaire Alexander and Christian Watson playing last night. All 3 of those guys are cornerstone pieces of that team, and some of the top talent in football. Jaire is one of the best corners in the game, Watson is an up and coming stud of a wide out, and Aaron Jones is a bulldozer of a back. I think they also lost Dontayvion Wicks last night too.

I mean, he lost against the Cowboys a few weeks ago, and nobody is crapping on the guy over it because expectations were already low. But I think this is more than about wins and losses. Yes, it's great that he won 3 straight and they're only 1 game out of a Wild Card spot. I just think the team and the fans understood that this was practically a lost season and they just needed something to get behind, cheer for, and have fun with. And they found it in this undrafted rookie third-stringer who nobody knew a month ago and is clearly playing his heart out and making the most of his moment.
