Just from fans of the TV show and recent comics reinvigorated his character and all his previous villains didn't give him a challenge. It's not more or so becoming OP, it's about mastering his powers and it's mainly showing that he doesn't fully control them which leads to new stories, possibly new characters and most likely another world event. That's the one thing where Marvel rivals DC in the comics, only problem is they jumped the gun and rushed new characters and storyline, whereas I think DC is slowly introducing new stuff. But I'm just a simple minded comic book reader, just speculation.

Yeah, I love the Flash, but I would like to see more varied additions to his rogue's gallery. Speedsters get old, and the rest of his rogue's gallery is kind of goofy in my opinion, (which I think is why they focus more on the speedsters, who realistically are the only ones who could even hope to hold a candle to the Flash.)
Flash and Zoom on the show can ONLY be in 2 places at once because of their use of Time Remnants (an ability where they briefly go back in time and bring a past/future self to the present, usually to take their place in the event of imminent death). Unless they say that's how Godspeed does it, then he is on a whole other level than Barry and his speedster rival(s).

Yeah. He was the fastest Flash ever and also probably the most well recieved. When the new 52 came around, no one took a bigger hit than wally. Even now that he's back in rebirth, he's been de-aged and it seems, depowered. Saying he was faster then is an understatement. His speed was unfathomable
zExterminat3_xl that was retconned. Barry himself isnt the generator for it however, he is the primary vessel for it. When he died in Crisis, this was passed on to Wally and he knew how to manipulate the speedforce a lot more effectively and in a lot more ways as compared to Barry. So in the post crisis and pre 52, Wally's had more feats showing him to be faster than Barry. He's gone the fastest any flash has gone
Well he might have not mentioned it because Zoom manipulates the time stream to bring ult versions of himself into the mix and steals speed to survive, while Godspeed is taking speed just to get stronger and is literally fast enough to be in two places at once. though i do agree its weird that they have two villans that are so similar yet different at the same time.. idk though just throwing my two cents in lol
I was actually half expecting them to do that on the new season of The Flash. It would make for some good cross promotion. But then I guess they want to let the character be established in the original format first before taking him to the masses. Maybe season 4! :P

First flash comic I have read. And I'm loving it. Really good twist I didn't see coming until just before the end of this issue. Godspeed looks to be a very good villain.
Aside from the reverse flashes. I really dont like other people having the same powers as Barry. it's taking away what's special about the flash. it's like in dragonball z when goku first transformed into a super saiyan, we were all so hyped and pumped about being a super saiyan but after a few episodes everybody can do it and turning into a super saiyan became just meh.
God speed had an actual drive. And he didn't kill just to gain speed, he killed because he thought others were not using their powers correctly. And him being close to Barry, makes him all the more interesting.

Yeah. He was the fastest Flash ever and also probably the most well recieved. When the new 52 came around, no one took a bigger hit than wally. Even now that he's back in rebirth, he's been de-aged and it seems, depowered. Saying he was faster then is an understatement. His speed was unfathomable

When he died in Crisis, this was passed on to Wally and he knew how to manipulate the speedforce a lot more effectively and in a lot more ways as compared to Barry. So in the post crisis and pre 52, Wally's had more feats showing him to be faster than Barry. He's gone the fastest any flash has gone

Well he might have not mentioned it because Zoom manipulates the time stream to bring ult versions of himself into the mix and steals speed to survive, while Godspeed is taking speed just to get stronger and is literally fast enough to be in two places at once. though i do agree its weird that they have two villans that are so similar yet different at the same time.. idk though just throwing my two cents in lol
On the tv show, speed mirages are a Reverse Flash thing. Zoom uses time remnants.

I was actually half expecting them to do that on the new season of The Flash. It would make for some good cross promotion. But then I guess they want to let the character be established in the original format first before taking him to the masses. Maybe season 4! :P
It would be so awesome, but I can already see some people having a problem with it. For some speedster fatigue is already setting in and they might consider August to be Eddie 2.0. Despite that I would love to see Godspeed in live-action.

Caesar Reacts Hate to break it to you dude, but that wasn't Godspeed. It's Savitar the God of Speed. He looks far different than his comic counterpart. However, maybe in later season(s) Godspeed will make an appearance. They could so a situation with him and Barry similar to Punisher/DD.

First flash comic I have read. And I'm loving it. Really good twist I didn't see coming until just before the end of this issue. Godspeed looks to be a very good villain.

I really dont like other people having the same powers as Barry. it's taking away what's special about the flash. it's like in dragonball z when goku first transformed into a super saiyan, we were all so hyped and pumped about being a super saiyan but after a few episodes everybody can do it and turning into a super saiyan became just meh.

God speed had an actual drive. And he didn't kill just to gain speed, he killed because he thought others were not using their powers correctly. And him being close to Barry, makes him all the more interesting.

I agree he's just a Hunter zolomon proxy with none of the tragedy,he went from killing his brothers killers to killing a bunch of strangers because the didn't use there powers right,he went from 0-180 with no build up and the reveal was a predictable rehash of the return of Barry Allen,such a waste of a hood name and costume for something so uninspired,I hope there's more too August but he's lamer than Malcolm west in my books currently
