Seriously for that Bike and the condition it is in now I think you have done alright. seriously you watch in a couple of years who know these may be selling for 15K and yours will be top of the bunch really. there is nothing wring with a supersport and end of th3 day you have a gorgeous firey redhead in your garage that would win awards
Can’t put a price on happiness Matty! . . The question you have to ask is are you happy? . . Great to put it into perspective though, I think sometimes we get caught up in the moment when we are rebuilding- but the results 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thanks mate. You are right about doing it in small steps. It did not seem to hit the bank account as hard (until I added it all up). Still worth it though.
@@RoadsOfOz I've had my eyes on an old Kawasaki. Teeny tiny thing. Not my dream bike but would be cool to turn it into a scrambler of some sort. And if I completely stuff it up it's not the end of the world haha
@@TheVSChick I used to own a 1980 z250a. It would have been perfect to turn into a cafe racer. I also had an EL250. The plan with that was to turn it into a custom. But had to sell it to buy the Ducati.
LK25 👍, sometimes it's for the love of the bike rather than the value post spend. I reckon you did this for that very love. Nice job by the way 👌. Stay blessed and safe, your friend Traveller MIA 🇬🇧
I’d love to own one ☝️. Sounds like a great deal but like anything else the add ons will get you lol 😂. Maybe not so good lol 😂. As long as you’re happy with it then it’s worth it!’ 👊✊👍👍. No you never get your money back! Keep it!
My friend has one and they are a great bike. He is in love with it. 😎
I have always wanted one (admittedly the 900) and this has been alot of fun to ride. Cheap to insure too.

It sure is a pretty bike. Really enjoy riding it at the moment.
Bike's looking beautiful, can't put a price on the experience and enjoyment.
I have zero regrets restoring this. It is a bike that I have always wanted.
You can’t put a price on happiness. When a mate wanted to spend money on a bike, my advice was “you’ll forget how much it cost you once you ride it”.
Very true words. I always say if you look back at your bike and grin like an idiot, then you have the right bike.
Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Looks like you are feeling better. Ride on mate.
I filmed this well before I got sick. But starting to feel alot better. I am looking forward to catching up soon. We can compare 600s.
@@RoadsOfOz looking forward to it.
The price of total enjoyment. Good one, Matt. Cheers
Money well spent in my opinion.

When it comes to bikes, they make me happy. It was a great learning process.
@@RoadsOfOz just wait until you get the ultra 😂😂😂😂😂
The cost sure does add up, but ya know, when you do it in small increments you don’t notice it nearly as much. I think you did a great job with it!

Cool T-shirt. :) Ducatis are not cheap, I mean parts. You did a great job and thanks for sharing this info on the money spent. Keep going.
Thanks mate. The shirt can be ordered through Gowanloch Ducati. Check out their website.
@@RoadsOfOz Thanks for the info. :)
Stunning ducati
Thanks mate.
Awesome Matty love it
Thanks mate.
You have to ask yourself are you happy with the result and what price do you put on personal satisfaction and happiness, money well spent I reckon
Thanks Paul. I totally agree. It was a good learning process as well.
Hey Matt, that’s not to bad for a bike that you know is now 100% 👍
Time to get out there and thrash the heck out of it 😎
Planning on a few day trips before summer is over that is for sure.
It's never a pleasant experience adding up all the costs lol! You've done a great job though. I'd love to do a little bike restoration one day
I think you should. Find a bike that is on your dream list and go for it. Great way to learn new skills too.

Thanks mate. I have always liked this model of Ducati so it definately ticked a box.
Great job mate she looks sweet. Now all you need to do is enjoy riding it 😎👍🏼
Plan on getting a lot of enjoyment riding it. Can see it featuring in many more vids (hopefully fun riding ones).
No-brainer mate, given that you love the bike I reckon it’s not that expensive? 😉✌️
Still a bargain 😉.
These are a reliable bike, very simple.
Having a ball riding this one. Love its simplicity as I am able to carry out some repairs when required.

You should get one. I have seen how cheap they are over there.
Definitely happy with it thanks.
