I have so much damn respect for all of you who went through the Sierra during that historic event. I was just one year ahead of you and found myself losing my shit by the time I reached Truckee during what was supposed to be a "low" snow year...HEISENBERG.
Great documentary! This has the best videography from the class of 2023 and that includes myself. Great editing, great story in a short format! Not an easy task to edit down. Really enjoyed this.
I love how you showed the difficulty of Mount Whitney and some of those high passes. Usually in these PCT videos they say they’re going to climb Mount Whitney and the next shot they’re at the top so we never get to see the struggle.
Dog foot at 24:41 is Erick Andino, he is hiking the CDT this year. His RUclips channel is Dogfoot trailing. I section hiked to san Jacinto in 2023, I recognise some of the people, I saw Susan and I spotted Silver as well, unfortunately he passed away this year on the CDT 😢 Looks like you had the adventure of a lifetime, the pct is amazing
@@Mark_Jacobson81 no way wow.. me and silver were really thankful for those buds.. it was very hard to find some greens on the desert section. Those buds lasted me till Oregon haha. I heard silver passed away and was very shocked, he was just inviting me to do cdt with him and I decided to do the gdt this year. I had a great time with silver and Susan for a few days... I wish I can emphasize and express what I experienced on the PCT! , it was the best!!
Great doc! You are an amazing storyteller and filmmaker. My bf and I ❤ the fact that you took 6 full months to complete the trail and you left late March in one of the highest snowpack years!!! Truly inspirational. I was out there last year hiking and decided to go back this year, so I know how hard it was. Never stop exploring, creating, and inspiring us.

This will be my 9th year on the PCT. 8 years of section hiking and saving $$ for my thru-hike this year.
