I got this DVD for either my birthday or Christmas (I don't remember which) as a kid, I watched it all of the time, & while most Seasons & Episodes have been uploaded onto streaming I still have the DVD & watch it sometimes for the nostalgia.
Man, this DVD made me discover other Power Rangers teams from my childhood, I only knew Dino Thunder, SPD and the 1995 Power Rangers movie, this DVD has the most nostalgic Power Rangers episodes I've ever watched.
I started watch Este during covid when I was 12 cuz I was really big into power rangers. Almost 5 whole years later I'm 17 and still watch every video. E squad 4Life ❤
I think they should’ve just swapped out the Lightspeed/Lost Galaxy crossover for the Time Force/Lightspeed crossover, not only would it have been a better choice overall, it would’ve caused the DVD to have shown every previous Red Ranger that appears in Forever Red besides the red alien Ranger since Tommy and Jason appear in the MMPR episode, TJ and Andros in the In Space, Leo in the In Space/Lost Galaxy crossover, and then it would’ve shown Carter, Wes, AND Eric had it used the Time Force/Lightspeed crossover. I presume the reasoning they insisted on using mostly crossover episodes for this collection is to showcase as many rangers as possible while using the least disc space
I have this!! Found it in a second hand shop for about £1.50. It's great to see the progression of the show. Even though these episodes are available to watch on RUclips now, I still love to watch them ad free.
This was a major favorite in my house. I'm finally going back and watching full seasons (Time Force, Lightspeed, and Zeo so far) but this dvd will always be an important note
Reason why Mike wasnt in the Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed Rescue crossover was because Mike sacrificed Torozord and his powers to allow Terra Venture and The Megaship to escape the Lost Galaxy
@@SimplySage yeah it’s funny because in the Super Sentai version of the crossover. The Magna Defender for an important role. That is waking up the Galactic Beasts, before joining his brother and their friends during the Megazord battle. The plot of that version involves Triskull, who is one of Queen Banshira’s children, kidnapping both adults and children, and draining their blood to summon an ancient Demon, which is the monster that Trakeena got turn into, after absorbing all the life force energy she has stolen from the people she has taken, which all got poisoned by Olympus for betraying both him and his mother.
Or the 2 part finale where they faced off against Queen Banshira, who launches a major assault on the Aqua Base, while moving her palace into the city, for the Eclipse that would open a portal to the Underworld, to invite hundreds of undead Demons into our world. Everything about that finale was proof of how far the main characters had come since the beginning. Especially the part where Diabolical comes back as a Ghost to help the Rangers to destroy his evil queen. And that ending where they give up their Morphers to move on, only to help people trap in a burning building. That was proof of the whole Once a Ranger, always a Ranger quote. To me, that was my favorite episode of the season.
That DVD was essential childhood for me. I grew up with the movies on DVD and VHS and a Dino Thunder DVD but the ultimate Rangers DVD is the absolute tits
The last time I've watched your video was you're still in short hair and now we're both long hair bro! 😁 Thank you for sharing the DVD. Merry Christmas 🎄
Me, here in Brazil, grew up with this DVD, dubbed of course, I was a lid that varely could read subtitles, but OMG, I loved this DVD, and watched as much as I watched the Turbo movie DVD (before my mom broke it)
Cara, o meu também ficou todo ralado ao ponto de eu nem conseguir mais assistir aquela batalha contra o Serpenterra kkkkkkkkkk só que eu sempre tava revendo e revendo. Bons tempos, ótimos tempos.
“The Ultimate Rangers” DVD, lowkey holds a special place, cause I was in the hospital when I was like 4 and my mom rented it for me & ever since then I loved Power Rangers even more And the first MMPR episode to me was “White Light” , rip JDF🤍
That best of is my childhood on repeat. Still till this day those episodes are the ones im most fond of. I think I knew power rangers before this on cable with the shows coming out roughly in the late 2000's, but this dvd made me love those series like crazy.
I used to own this DVD back in the day I would watch it almost every weekend but then when I got older, I gave it to a special needs class they loved it they watched it all month long
This DVD is what introduced me to the other Power Ranger shows, I only watched the movie and overdrive on DVD (this before I watched or heard of once a ranger)
I REALLY wish "The Power of Pink" had been included alongside "To the Tenth Power" since, I firmly believe, that it's even more important than the first episode.
I remember getting this back in 2006. During Mystic Force’s airing. It was at an FYE at a mall in my hometown. This was a blast to me as an 8 year old kid. White Light was a great way to bring back Tommy, after losing his Green Ranger powers. Countdown to Destruction has always been everyone’s favorite episode in the franchise, with so much action, drama, & fantasy. The scene with Zordon being sacrificed was so emotional. To The Tenth Power was so awesome to bring back the Space Rangers to help Leo & the gang with the return of the Psycho Rangers. It could’ve been better if Zane was in it, helping Mike with Deviot & Villainmax. Trakeena’s Revenge was a lot of fun for me back in the day. Sure it would been better if it was more focused on the team up with the 2 Ranger teams. I think Heater was a great help to Carter, Leo, & the others. Her relationship with them reminds me a lot of Maria Renard’s relationship with Richter, Annette, & Alucard from Castlevania. Both little girls who lost their parents, which makes them want to beat the bad guys, even though it’s too dangerous, unless they’re not alone. Overall I only loved it because of the Megazord showdown when Olympus mutates Trakeena into a giant monster, which was pure nightmare fuel. Which all led to a happy ending where Heater is reunited with her parents, while being rewarded as a Junior Ranger for saving the day. The Lost Galaxy Rangers then return back to Mirinoi. Forever Red has always been the one crossover that blew our minds as kids. Seeing Cole teaming up with Jason, Tommy, TJ, Andros, & the other Red Rangers was a great way to celebrate 10 years of the franchise. Long before the MCU, there was this which we all grew up with❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I can imagine if Disney did a DVD for the 15th anniversary. Like The Ninja Storm 2 part finale. The Dino Thunder episode where Tommy is fighting his past selves. The SPD 2 part episode where Sky becomes Red. The Mystic Force episode where Nick gets his Battlizer, to save his friends. And the Operation Overdrive 2 part crossover, Once a Ranger.
I had this DVD as a kid and loved it! My only wish is that it came out after 2005. SPD was my favorite series and I would've loved for it to be on the DVD.
I feel like having an episode or two-parter per series would have worked better, but a personal thing for me is only one team-up, Forever Red, but even then, I'd make it an advertised "bonus" episode to go along with a regular Wild Force episode, since all the team-ups could have been its own DVD. Plus there's deciding which MMPR episodes to include from each season, that and do you include an episode of Alien Rangers to acknowledge them too. Though for Season 1, I'd maybe go with The Green Candle two-parter since it can somewhat flow into White Light if you ignore the story that happened in-between, especially when it comes to the Rangers using the Thunderzords.
MMPR Black does return in In Space, Light Speed Blue is weird. Feels like they just wanted a black ranger on there. Maybe do MMPR Blue instead, but then what?
I remember trying to get the shrink wrap open and my stepdad "helped" by ripping it off along with a portion of the plastic around the case. If I were putting together a collection of episodes from subsequent seasons, I'd include Fighting Spirit, Idol, Once A Ranger, Doctor K, Dimensions, The Nemesis and Operation Seasoning.
This wasn't my introduction to power rangers but it definitely cemented my random and it was my introduction to Tommy as the white ranger this was the most watched DVD I ever owned I watched it till wouldn't even start up anymore from the layers of scratches on it even when I now collected all the Shout Factory seasons I still bought a new copy 😁
So I'm from Brazil and I had this DVD. It was a pirate version and it tells how much iconic this DVD was. Btw it has the scariest episode, the one from Lightspeed Rescue. It gives me goosebumps till this day.
Found this in the video store and it restarted my interest in the franchise. Rushed out and bought it at Best Buy. Kept it until the Shout boxsets came out. Power of Pink should have been on it. Still waiting for MMPR: Once & Always to get a physical release, maybe with Dimensions in Danger as bonus feature.
i agree King for a Day would have been better than using Trakena's Revenge. you have needed Where is Zeo Ranger V to set up the two parter though. Power of Pink should have really been included. there are too many great episodes from Time Force to chose from. Disney really should have made it a two disc collection so we got an introduction to each team. if there was collection for each decade for second decade i would definitely include Once a Ranger with Dark Wish, Reflections, Road to Corinth. the Neo Saban era is so poor not many episodes to chose from Beside Dimensions in Danger and Once and Always.
I did yes, I did wish it included Zoe, turbo and time force as well as mighty morphin, in space, lost galaxy, lightspeed rescue and wild force. Even feel the same way when the ps2 game of power rangers super legends when they only have five power rangers teams in one game If you get what I mean when they could add all of the power rangers seasons.
If I could make a bluray list of episodes Mine would be every cross over/past ranger cross overs featuring Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Season 3) “A Friend in Need” (Parts 1-3): Crossover with Masked Rider. Power Rangers Turbo “Shadow Rangers”: Features Divatox’s use of Beetleborgs costumes (not a direct crossover). Power Rangers in Space “Shell Shocked”: Crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy “To the Tenth Power”: Team-up with the Power Rangers in Space team. “The Power of Pink”: A continuation featuring the return of Kendrix (Lost Galaxy Pink) and Karone (Astronema). Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue “Trakeena’s Revenge” (Parts 1-2): Crossover with Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Power Rangers Time Force “Time for Lightspeed”: Crossover with Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. Power Rangers Wild Force “Reinforcements from the Future” (Parts 1-2): Crossover with Power Rangers Time Force. “Forever Red”: Features Red Rangers from all previous seasons teaming up. Power Rangers Dino Thunder “Legacy of Power”: Recap of Power Rangers history. “Thunder Storm” (Parts 1-2): Crossover with Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Power Rangers S.P.D. “History”: Crossover with Power Rangers Dino Thunder. “Wormhole”: Another team-up with Dino Thunder Rangers. Power Rangers Operation Overdrive “Once a Ranger” (Parts 1-2): Features veteran Rangers from MMPR, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, and Mystic Force. Power Rangers Jungle Fury “Path of the Righteous” / “Now the Final Fury”: Though not a traditional crossover, these episodes feature retroactive ties to the lore of past Rangers. Power Rangers Samurai “Clash of the Red Rangers”: Crossover with Power Rangers RPM. Power Rangers Super Megaforce “Legendary Battle” (Extended Version): Features multiple past Rangers and teams. Power Rangers Ninja Steel “Dimensions in Danger”: Features Tommy Oliver and a large team of returning Rangers. Power Rangers Beast Morphers “Grid Connection”: Team-up with Dino Charge, Dino Thunder, and Jason Lee Scott (MMPR Red Ranger).
Best of Power Rangers Vol.2! Thunderstorm 1&2, Reflections 1&2, Mystic Fate 1&2 and Once A Ranger 1&2. Best of Power Rangers Vol.3! Clash of The Red Rangers (Extended Edition) The Legendary Battle (Extended Edition) and Dimensions In Danger (Extended Edition). Best of Power Rangers Vol.4! Intruder Alert, The Greater Good, Finders Keepers, Making Bad & Grid Connected (Beast Morphers) and MMPR: Once And Always.
I would do Dimensions In Danger Legendary Battle (just cause you get every team in it) Reflection Part 1 and 2 A Friend In Need (for crossover with Kamen Rider) The Power Of Pink (one of the deepest power rangers episode)
If I were to do a volume 2, I would choose these episodes. Green with evil Alien rangers of Aquatar Always a chance Time for lightspeed Legacy of Power Dimensions in danger . Special features: Shell shocked Wormhole Cosmic fury episode 1, 2, 3
If they made a new dvd like this the 5 ep i would do is (in no Particular order) Once a Ranger from Operation overdrive Dimensions in danger Ninja steel Reinforcements from the future part 1 & 2 wild force either back in black or history from dino thunder and Once and always (must b the final ep on the dvd)
Literally my ENTRY POINT to the entire show
Same here bro.

Very true. Although, the Torozord made a small cameo during the Megazord battle of this crossover.
@ Also true. You could tell not much attention was paid from the writers 😂

It was one of the discs that helped me get back into power rangers
I have that dvd and fun fact it's autographed with every red ranger in the promo for forever red
that’s sick! would love to see it
I would have to say Lightspeed Rescue episodes 11-12 since they are a 2 parter that introduces the titanium ranger and goes into his backstory.
so true!
Or the 2 part finale where they faced off against Queen Banshira, who launches a major assault on the Aqua Base, while moving her palace into the city, for the Eclipse that would open a portal to the Underworld, to invite hundreds of undead Demons into our world. I think my favorite episode on the DVD was countdown to destruction it was definitely the avengers endgame of the Power Rangers franchise

I rented this every weekend from blockbuster, such awesome memories

idk the psycho ranger saga from in space was a legit mini series

Hi este 😊
If they made a new dvd like this the 5 ep i would do is (in no Particular order)
Once a Ranger from Operation overdrive
Dimensions in danger Ninja steel
Reinforcements from the future part 1 & 2 wild force
either back in black or history from dino thunder
and Once and always (must b the final ep on the dvd)
I had that DVD!
I had know idea that this DVD even igsited
