Doesnt seem to work for me. I have 2 issues that pop up when i try that. First the Rotoscope doesnt want to track the eyes at least not the full time as you show it should do on 0:38. And then the effect is not tracking the eyes, its just on its own, on a separate level. Also sometimes when i try that, from where the rotoscope starts to track, the image goes black and only the rotoscope shape is visible in the video? Thanks for the help!

Quick question when I copy and paste the mask into the adjustment layer, it takes a whole video's dimensions instead of the actual eye what to do?
Duplicate your bottom layer and apply the saber to that instead, itll act as an adjustment layer because its the same footage
