I've been using blender ever since 2014 (but I stopped soon after because I was overwhelmed) then I picked it back up in 2019 and have loved it ever since! Depending on what you need, the element 3d plugin from video copilot is a phenomenal option and is very beginner friendly in UI and design and a relatively cheap option (however you can't beat free, like blender)

there is 2 attempts at invisible cuts on my youtube channel shorts. The one with the Straws was held by hand, but the one with the Juice packets was held by a microphone tripod! I plan to do more like those, but for now, that's just a fun fact.
The straw one was a cool idea! The explosion of straws looked good. One tip would be to make sure you are filming where the exposure won't change much, whether that's from the camera being set to auto or the light source changing out the window 🫡
