Bhai, can you explain implications of this system like pros and cons for non-AIIMS UR candidates ? And also how many % of seats will be reserved for AIIMS ppl?
All depends on the roster points being followed by AIIMS, which are yet to be disclosed. As per the existing JIPMER roster point system, UR candidates are at a disadvantage. No wonder at UR 24 you would get the last seat in JIPMER in Gynae.
@Rishabh Jain does this mean that an OBC with rank 100 cannot get pediatrics because UR Candidates will take all peds seats and whole medicineand radio departments will be filled with upper caste people and OBC,sc,st will be left with shitty non-clinical seats , isn't that destroying reservation
Will only first attempts fresher pple get this benefit of aiims internal pg quota or those who will drop and again appear for the pg exam (NEXT 1 EXAM now) also have this benefit if they hv done their ug from that very aiims??
No. Constitutionally reserved candidates if getting seats through insti quota, they are meritoriously reserved candidates I.e. they the gen seat from insti Quinta
2 medicine UR seats. Aiims graduate rank 4, rank 5 is OBC. Assuming rank 1 took medicine, rank 2&3 radio. Next seat goes to rank 5 OBC than rank 4 AIIMS graduate (according to the roster system followed in JIPMER)

This is not true, AIIMS students are stripped of their state quota. I think West Bengal is an only exception.

Sir, one major doubt. Does caste-based reservation apply under the institutional quota. Like INST-SC/ST/OBC/EWS.
No. Constitutionally reserved candidates if getting seats through insti quota, they are meritoriously reserved candidates I.e. they the gen seat from insti Quinta
What's the disadvantage of this system to a good ranked aiims graduate

Yes UR2 can be a SC candidate and will get a UR seat not SC-1 seat. Hence the MRC stays
@@RishabhJain2970 so basically UR seats will have the worst impact. Other seats will have to remain according to the constitution
So UR candidates from non Aiims colleges should just have lesser hopes now. The seats that got deducted was from UR anyways.
Yes, UR seats are the worst affected. Essentially Insti seats are UR seats.
