Hi, just to be clear if I wasn’t in the beginning of the video - this video is about ‘INSITITUTIONAL RESERVATION’ for AIIMS UG students for AIIMS PG Admission. Not about caste based reservation.
does this mean that an OBC with rank 200 cannot get pediatrics because UR Candidates will take all peds seats and whole medicine and radio departments will be filled with upper caste people and OBC,sc,st will be left with shitty non-clinical seats , isn't that destroying reservation ??
Everytime every UR need to work 10x harder than other category to get something. No matter how much we tweet or protest nothing will change. Therefore it's best to accept the fate and work harder. Sometimes maybe the less deserving gets a seat and the meritorious gets the last. But at the end, it doesn't matter. If we serve people sincerely we will be recognized no matter what our ranks were. Run after excellence, success will be inevitable.

Your guidance is just spot on. I wish I had all the wisdom you share on your channel earlier. I could have done a lot of things differently in UG and PG.

So basically there would be no benefit of getting into ini in ug right, people who get into any state college get reservation in pg entrance, while students in ini should not get? Why not remove state quota all together? Why not remove all quotas in pg entrance? Once you get caste based reservation in ug, once you are a doctor, why don't we have a level playing field for every one, and have no reservations... @@AcelLenoire obviously not….what I mean is that your logic of middle class generals giving up their seat for poor general is flawed as poor generals already have a category. But when it comes to sc/st the main purpose for them to have reservation is to uplift them but sc/st who already are socially well to do will take away their seat hence people who actually need social uplifting don’t reap the benefits of reservation. Hence Rich/ socially well off sc/st should give up reservation so that other needy people from their category get the benefits.
The worst was AIIMS UG reservation system wherein even the 50% UR seats were converted to OBC SC/ST incase the person availing reservation took one seat through UR rank and shifted to some other seat through quota , that UR seat that he/she left was converted to a seat in his quota
No matter what is the nature of the decision..... whether it's regarding caste based reservation or as in this case, institutional reservation.....it ALWAYS takes away the seats from UR(General caste) category.... Why always 50% quota every internal institution quota can be reduced 20-30%. On the other hand, state quota should not be 80% it's unfair to people who don't live in medical hub like Dehli or Maharashtra. It can be reduced to 50%.
@Aashman Tiwari you can enlighten yourself by seeing the population statistics and correlate it with reservation percentage. And frankly if you require reservation based on caste to get a seat in pg specially when all the aspirants have read almost the same books in 5.5 years of mbbs just reflects incompetence.
I am a middle class SC student. Till class 12th I used to be within those good student's category and I was judged on basis of my capability and not caste. I miss those days. I feel....for mbbs and whatever...there should be no reservation( not even state) except for the really needy ones. Rest are capable of working hard and grabbing seats.
The reason why there is no " Las Vegas" in India because we. Indians are bound to gamble our one decade of education through this appeasement policies ! If we still need support quota in different way means our education has failed to liberate us. No doubt!
A life and death profession like Medical should not have any reservations especially after MBBS. If people need reservations in PG seats also it’s nothing short of shame.
Grt sir👍! But injustice is faced by many UR genuine merit candidates due to these greedy ppl asking for reservations as birth right... & Caste right.... Will this evil system ever go... Reservations should only be there for those who really deserve irrespective of caste or institute , that to

reservation is given by constitution to bring equal opportunity ,on that time it's ok , but today people are saying that they don't have equality of opportunity is tough thing to digest, today everything is free in internet or in very little price ,who wants to learn they can learn anything even many doctors learn from internet (prepladder ,etc).
But I think earlier also AIIMS have 25% internal reservation. You can see in merit list,AIIMS internal candidate rank and their allotment is different than others.
Sir, having attended last year Spot Round, I can add one thing, if some person has a UR rank 2 but OBC rank 1, he will still be considered MRC (Meritoriusly reserved Candidate) and he will get the UR Seat. So any reserved candidate having a better rank can compete for the UR seats also under MRC.
Reservation agar deni hi hai toh economic basis par do na yaar... Relatively rich SC/ST are getting all the benefits whereas the actual needy ones suffer 😡... I find it hard to say but the law makers of our country are entitled "Chumtiyas"
Do you realize this ? We are from a third world country. We grew up hearing the motto "Hard work" = Success. As i grew up (being a general category student/ lower middle class family) i was proven wrong in many criteria. I would study 70+ hours a week , get barely any sleep , proper nutrition because i wanted a good medical college. (Other students working for their dream jobs/sarkari jobs cause india) So i can maintain a decent lifestyle in the future. Only to be taken away by people who hail from a reserved category or a financially stable family , people who barely qualify. Few of my kothi bangla friends just got selected with way lesser marks just because they belonged to a particular category and were literally privileged enough to take admission in any decent foreign university. Here my father subsists to meet the end-meets.
Now there is EWS for the very same reason. And don't be disheartened. This type of affirmative action is all over the world. You can get this even in USA which is quite developed.
The biggest myth is that there is a category called "general" . There is no category called as "general" . "General" is a term popularized by people who doesn't belong to obc sc st pH category. Constitutionally we don't have any category. That's why we are called as UNRESERVED. And unreserved means the seats are not reserved for anyone .........but most of the time unreserved people think that no category people can take unreserved seats....and that's a biggest myth ......anyone can take unreserved seats. If any new reservation is introduced they will take seats from unreserved part. Because its unreserved .....it belongs to all.... Just like non reserved coaches of express trains....
@@unusual_sakki bro I mean unreserved seats belongs to all (sc st obc ph sawarn institutional and whatever categories which are yet to be introduced) so if any new reservation will be introduced then this will eat from unreserved seats. But general people are not aware of this fact .....they think if "x%" of seats are unreserved then general people have "x%" of seats for them, in reality it's much less.
The power of hard work is always less compared to power of reservation in India.. No matter you work hard 10x , 20x ,30x....50x ...its never going to suffice to beat the reservation system......and out of 1lak people appearing in aiims exam only few can be in the top 5 and those top 5 also has to struggle to get their choice of seat due to various reservations....... Bullshit system...
Sir very informative, but would like to add - every state college has 50% quota.. So how's DU's unfair. Institutes of national importance don't come under state govt so they shouldn't have this (they don't complain when they get the fundings and facilities which their corresponding state colleges don't get). And also AIIMS used to have this internal quota, it was only gone for a couple of years (during which you appeared for pg entrance). But like every rare good move in our country, its been undone now.
Why don't they conduct a PG entrance exam at AIIMS level and give all seats to AIIMSonians only. Whats the sense of having all India exam now. Already the number of seats are so less, plus almost 70% reserved. Its a time for every hardworking open category student to get out of India and make your life outside india. With no offence to anyone, India doesnt deserve hard working youth.
It’s okay to be pissed and sarcastic but do watch the video. This was already being done for IPU/DU. AIIMS reservation is much less. That doesn’t justify it. But why anger only against AIIMS?
@@DrAditya2935 Who told AIIMS reservation is much less??It's 20%.....31 seats are reserved for AIIMS candidates.......Even JIPMER is giving 15% reservation.
That MRC is the real killer. It happens in neet pg too. So few UR seats and that too get taken. If the issue is representation, then how doesn't this go over and beyond?
Through out the mbbs course, we study from the same textbooks, live in the same hostel, taught by the same teacher at the same time and have meals in the same canteen, then why would anyone need reservation in NEET PG? Everyone is given the same opportunity regardless of caste, class or creed.

One more thing, when government is giving more than 50% reservation in neet ug seats, why's there reservation in pg? A person has been given chance in his ug, studied medicine for 5.5long years then ab to wo apni knowledge ke basis pe seat le sakta hai? Ab kis baat ki help chahiye?
Here comes a librandu giving gyan on education (itself knows nothing other than religion politics).....dikkat reservation ki nhi but education field me reservation ka card one time nhi hai jo sabse badi dikkat hai ek family jab reservation use krke high income pe aa jati hai and lifestyle standard bdh jate hai still next generation ke liye voh reservation card use krte hai ...and max case me yhi hota hai jinke pass sb hai voh reserved seat le rhe and unki puri generation whi benefit le rhe ....upar se seat bhi assani se milti + paisa bhi nhi dene pdte
You’re wrong that it’s worthless. Every AIIMS will have its own roster. And seats in PGIMER and NIMHANS still would be according to old criteria. This is an extremely good rank! You can get most branches except Radio.
Any kind of reservation be it caste, institutional,state(p.s. sir mentioned only institutional) is wrong in higher level of studies. The mrc thing happened with me. The candidate who got lower marks in ug got a better college in a metrocity and better guidance and mentor, ended up taking the so called open ur seat, and it went a rank above me, for Aiims d, while the category seat was left vacant. Also after joining the seat person left in a month. Lol.. So it was even seat wastage, which happened for 2 of those seats in that branch . As 2/3 ur seats were mrc, and both left later on. All the ur candidate can do is work hard and achieve better, atleast govt should make a rule that ur seats should be reserved for ur candidates only... And people should fight in there own category. So that the left minimal seats of ur are for unreserved people only.

First of all This roster based system - this case was in SC since 2017. No one knew what judgement SC was going to give and when it was going to give. Could have taken another 5 years for that matters. If they would have given a judgement saying no reservation in AIIMS , then you’re happy with your current college? The point is - your rant is just that - a rant. Life is unpredictable. It’s fully possible that someone files another case against this - and by the time you’re competing your MBBS - this again goes away. No one can predict the future- definitely you cannot. You still have state quota - so what exactly are you crying about? Isn’t that one of the reason why you chose your college over AIIMS Kalyani? If you want a roster based system for every college - you’re most welcome to file a case in any court citing your reasons. The second part of your rant is justified. But that unfortunately has nothing to do with INSITITUIONAL quota. Caste based reservation will stay in this country due to the appeasement politics- the earlier we accept it - the better it is for us. Life is unfair and the only way out is hardwork. UR 1 still is on top of the roster irrespective of any reservation.
@@DrAditya2935 No, I didn't choose Aiims kalyani not because of its "no reservation benefit"(I wasn't even aware of it till today) but because it's too damn far from my home, and i was getting a college quite near my home. @@DrAditya2935 and still then, even if someone deliberately doesn't prefer an Aiims due to this problem of no reservation , (you urself have done a video on "why NOT to take Aiims" where your #1 point was no reservation) what sin have they done? Do you realize this ? We are from a third world country. We grew up hearing the motto "Hard work" = Success. As i grew up (being a general category student/ lower middle class family) i was proven wrong in many criteria. I would study 70+ hours a week , get barely any sleep , proper nutrition because i wanted a good medical college. (Other students working for their dream jobs/sarkari jobs cause india)
So i can maintain a decent lifestyle in the future.
So true,😢
How 🤔 ❓

First of all
This roster based system - this case was in SC since 2017.
