I'm from Norway, I have loved Wardruna since their first beginning, and I have to say I cried when I watched this video, because I loved your reaction! Lots of hugs from Norway!
This place is very real. It's an island called Tustna on the west coast of Norway

yes it is common for Nordic people, people from Sweden to cut holes in frozen lakes and get in the water. They say it helps with their health.
The ''rocks that are stacked underwater with the trees'' as you call it, is a real sunken village located in Norway, the ''rocks stacked'' is the foundation of buildings and houses.

Yeah everything you saw it's totally real. Fun fact they shot the video on an island in the northwest part of Norway in April or May of 2020.The weather was supposed to be good those days but there was an extremely cold blast from the artic which plummeted the temps and brought the snow again. They had to stay on that island with practically nothing for three whole days until they could leave safely.Also if you look closely the man walking and going up the mountain is really half naked wearing only pants in the snow...I get frostbites just watching this lmao.
there's an old Norwegian saying that's basically: "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing." :D

Its all abut a place of comfort and cure for the ‘sick and sore’ who manage to climb the mountain and bear offerings at the shrines there - a gift demands a gift in return. Healing mountain is my fav song of theirs, it heals you more and more in every listening. Its a genius band reflecting all your inner ancient instincts so its appropriatte they are using medieval musical tools to their journey.
I always feel sorry for Lindy Fay Hella - the female vocalist - as she doesn't seem to get much attention with this band though she's a brilliant singer. She also has a lot of solo material.
Well, maybe not by those who react, but for me, she is an absolute integral part of the song, with a great voice, and they both harmonise well together.
I think the "underwater village" is because a dam in Høyanger (Sognefjorden) needed higher water
There's something about Wardruna that makes my blood come alive and want to go live in nature and live off the land. It's like the music is calling to my Nordic/Scandinavian ancestry.

hey guys the underwater scene is an ruin of an viking village in norway (historical land mark) the locations in the video are real locations they werent expecting snow in lower areas but it occurred thou didnt effect filming too much hiya from southern ontario canada!
I think I read that this was shot during a May and they didn't expect it to be still snowing then!
I just watched this yesterday and couldn't help but notice that Wardruna also had Justine from Skáld help with the harmony.
Yes, this is all a real place. Most of the scenes here were recorded on an Archipelego of Islands in Tustna, Not too far from the town of Ålesund.

Welcome to Western Norway. The location of the video is mainly filmed at the island of Tustna. Most of the west coast look like this. The mountains get steeper the further north you travel.

There is actually an entire farm you see there under the water. A rock slide from the nearby mountain created a natural dam, that flooded and submerged the farm in water...
