I really appreciate videos like this where people talk about the drawbacks of certain plants - like the crawlers and their issues with spider mites. It helps me to not waste money on plants I probably won't enjoy. Thanks! 🙏🌿💕
I really love the longer videos! I deff wouldn't buy the Pilea, ring of fire and crawling philodendrons again... probably more 😂 I've made the mistake too buy 2 Gloriosums and pot them up separately, now I have 2 huge ones that take up al lot of space😂
For the Pilea Peperomioides, I’ve found mine doing the small weird curling thing when it doesn’t receive enough light so that could definitely be it. 😅
I have no luck with esqueletos. It was a wishlist plant for me for so long and I tried my luck twice and failed, the first one rotted while the current one is only pushing out runners and I don't know how to fix this other than chopping :( It seems me and this plant just don't get along... I like the long videos, its like a one-sided conversation with a fellow plant enthusiast
Ja it doesn’t look like I’m going to be getting my hands on one any time soon, but I do have a monstera acuminata and I’m going to try and get that one to size up 🤞🏼 I also have plants that are just a good match with me. Yes 😂 I also like watching longer videos. Feels more personal. Another long one coming up Friday 😅
Gud video have you tried semi hydro? Alot if not all grow better in leca and lechuza pon. 90% of my plants I switched and I don't think I will ever go bk.
I realize my first comment is confusing lmao. Like pick one of those I mean. Either a spot with a lot of light or a low light spot and water only when soil is dry.
I adore my tiger tooth and ring off fire alike, I planted the 2 tiger tooth together back of stems together so it’s a bushy round plant, gonna do the same with my 2 rings of fire Use some hydrogen peroxide in your water for your moss poles for the mold? I adore my Adensonii on a moss pole, the first two plants I had didn’t enjoy my care, died, but the latest is on its forth extension with huge leaves and living bits best life
Nice 😍 love combining plants. Looks so much fuller. Yes I’m going to try that with the poles. It weird my first one never gave me any grief and this was has just been a bit of a drama queen
Towards the beginning part of video you are saying "don't buy a plant just bc its cheap and dont buy bc you're having a bad day". Whelp i just did both... i bought 15 plug plants, 10 of which are alocasias. Bc they were super cheap & buy 5 get 1 free plus reduced shipping. Now they're otw to me and reality of the situation is hitting me 🤦♀️😩 like wtf did i do?! I am really really short on space(basically have to have them all in my bedroom) & don't know where tf they're all gonna go yet. 😂 ima make it work. But really don't know where they will go if i can actually grow them to maturity. Will cross that bridge when i get to it lmfao. But lesson learned.
But on other hand am excited for all the alocasias! Got a few OG like jacklyn & frydek. Then got green unicorn, mandalay, dragons breath. Reginae, something kapit?, nobilis, the one called black panther and can't remember the others right now. But i do plan to try and put them all in semi hydro which i have almost zero experience with. Since they're plugs, do u think i should put them in water or stratum first before i put them in pon? Or just go straight to pon? They will be here tomorrow & am trying to prepare so im not as overwhelmed lol. Bc they're all arriving basically just in the plug wrapped in wet paper towel so theyve all got to be potted up immediately. I also got my first anthurium, a clairnervium, a philo joepii, pilea peperomioides,a jose bueno for only $4 usd! And i know im forgetting something lol. But all their plugs are basically a 3 or 4 inch pot size plant. They're huge. Soooo tomorrow my adhd brain is gonna be on overload. Definitely living with buyers regret right now.
It’s so tempting isn’t it 🫣 and so hard to say no but think of future you and they will thank you for it! I hope they all do well! You can always trade or sell them if they get too big for your space. 💚
I would personally first put them in stratum and then pon. I have gone from soil to pon before, but I’ve also lost a lot of plants that way. Stratum is just a nice buffer and easier for the roots to adjust 👌🏼💚
@myjunglestory thank you! Thats what i was leaning towards too. Do u have a general kinda time period you leave them before transferring to pon? Oh and do you put your stratum in cups with holes or no? I'm worried about giving them root rot with too much water in cup. Ive only got a little bit of experience with it but used a cup with drainage in a semi hydro kind of setup and it worked well. So am a lil nervous about doing it with no drainage
@myjunglestory if you have a video specifically about this please link if possible. Since im newer to your channel, i haven't seen alot of videos yet. Im sure you have multiple videos where you discuss it.
... why? Many plants actual have genders. As in, there are male and female plants. Most are both in one plant. The plant doesn't care what we call them. We call ships 'she' so why not plants?

Thank you! I’m glad I helped 🥰 all about being honest 🌿💚
Love the long videos and the chatty videos! ❤
Thank you! There will definitely be no shortage of them on my channel 💚

Thank you! Oh no 🫣 yes they so gorgeous but are very space consuming.
Ive just bought a red arrow... Arrives today
It’s been a very easy plant for me so far 👌🏼💚
I like my ROF much better since I gave it a moss pole to control the growth pattern.
Ja it’s a bit crazy 😂 it’s living in the propagation room now and seems to be happy so I will keep her there
I love the long videos. I wouldn’t repurchase my ring of fire either, it’s just not growing pretty, it’s wobbly.
Same I always think it’s going to fall over 😂
Wow! that schefflera is beautiful!! Is that a difficult plant?
No she’s not difficult at all. Thrives more on neglect to be honest. I’ve just had some bad luck with the pests and too much water
For the Pilea Peperomioides, I’ve found mine doing the small weird curling thing when it doesn’t receive enough light so that could definitely be it. 😅
I thought so 😅 I’m going to give her more light 👌🏼

@@myjunglestory If you're ever interested in a cutting, I could send it your way as I decided I'm gonna chop mine - the runner bothered me so much.
@@haraco23 i would love that but where are you from?
Belgium, so I guess that shouldn't be a problem :)
@@haraco23 perfect! Send me a message on instagram and we can sort it out 💚

LOVE semi hydro and yes I have a lot of plants in semi hydro but I do want to transfer some more and do some experimenting 🤞🏼
I haven’t had a mold problem but I’d spray it with hydrogen peroxide. How annoying!
Hmm going to give that a try. Thank you! 💚
@@myjunglestoryuse food grade!!!

I have S. erythrophyllum, let it get better established and it will take off.
I’m definitely going to give it it’s time, I do believe it can be a beautiful and bushy plant 💚
You are over filling the moss pole! Fill with the moss as your plant growers.
