Even the bosses that couldn't have an approximation of the player grabbed animation, like Placidusax, still had a landing animation that played on contact with the ground. Malenia's grab looked neat too, and the Elden Beast's grab was amazing on Hoarah Loux due to intro artwork depicting him in a similar situation. Additionally, you even got Fortissax's static cling lightning attack to work! You're the first modder I've seen who was able to make that move function on non-players. These fights are cinematically shot well with great framing, and there are tons of cool moments throughout, such as slapping Margit out of the air, the dueling eruptions in the Fire Giant battle, and the Earthshaker stomp that hits a Godskin Apostle just before he floats out of range. The way you were able to make Godfrey immediately switch to Hoarah Loux at the proper health percentage was awesome as well, and you were careful to code it so that Regal Roar and Earthshaker both began at the appropriate HP amounts for the normal gameplay fight. I also liked how you showcased the Hoarah Loux HP bar separately in the Mohg fight to give an idea for how you were making these fights work. You avoided Mohg glitching into extra counting animations too, which is another nice detail. The only other insights I have are that Godfrey didn't start the Radahn and Astel fights from the same distance that the player normally does, though the Radahn fight was still one of the best in the video, and Nihil might have done player bleed % damage instead of boss bleed % damage. The Godfrey phase in the God-Devouring Serpent/Rykard fight seemed based on the 1.00 pre-patch Godfrey, but that was probably an intentional choice. Other than that, this is one of the greatest boss vs. boss videos ever! Using the golden Godfrey spawn point to load Godfrey in behind Gideon mid-speech was hilarious as well. The fight with Radogon is not even a battle, it's a family quarrel. The giant's hornbeam was amazing. I wonder if he can do Grub on Grviol? Well, like that dragon ass usually doesn't even move.
all the dialogue from the bosses makes sense, because I'm pretty sure the "alternate worlds" multiplayer concept means that each Tarnished is in fact going through their own worlds and killing their own unique bosses. So Godfrey theoretically did actually beat the game to get where he did. It's not totally clear, because the way he says goodbye to Morgott implies he might not have ever fought him, but you can definitely look at this run as how his story would have gone with no player character to challenge him at the end.
When I saw Horah Loux YEET Placidusax AND Elden Beast into the F-ING AIR, I was like:' HOLY S%#@!' It was like launching frickin' Godzilla AND King Ghidorah! Placidusax:' Oh, No! Not again!' The way he STOMPED Gideon, PRICELESS! 🤣
