@@alicekasovski @lynettefinnigan9540 @Aimztastic It was always locked-away-at-gourmet-stores expensive. This doesn't help any! One of them asked for pay for the two months after she'd died, as well, saying she hadn't looked for another job, in case her services were still needed. My aunt reported this to her siblings; they made all the decisions about the estate together, and there was never any question they'd pay this lady, despite the audacity. im not really much of a science guy, but don't very common berries like blue- and cranberries have similar properties that saffron is claimed to have? a company actively using an ingredient that does the same things as another but costs hundreds of times as much to produce is, in my opinion, not really looking out for the health of their customers, but rather their profit margins.

The Sephora Squad includes only a few older women. I saw only two. Older women have $$$ to spend. Seems like a lost opportunity. It’s a bit tiresome that senior women are always left behind in fashion and beauty spaces.
Older women are usually more set in their habits and are more discerning about what they buy. Young people are in an exploratory phase and spend more freely even if they do not have the same amount of disposable income.

Well Paris Hilton is going with the JLo strategy and claiming she never used botox… and both of their skincare brands are made by the same parent company
I've never purchased any _Goop_ and don't intend to. Her sunscreen was in a couple of beauty boxes I got, and I used them but I don't buy celebrity products.
I was deeply disappointed when Paris said she doesn't use injectables. I felt like I had been duped and that her public displays of vulnerability were a sales tactic I fell for. If it's true, she shouldn't be making that part of her brand while putting out such highly edited images of herself.
I didn't know saffron was used in beauty products. I thought it was only used in food. I agree with them looking for an alternative to it in beauty products so that it can be used in food. I think the time of the super celeb is coming to an end. People don't trust them and they're very conscious of the extreme flaunting of wealth during a time when people are really struggling. Having a celebrity front a brand is no longer the draw it was.
While i get why people dont believe her (celebrity + rich= why wouldnt she have gotten botox or filler), early 40s with minimal wrinkles/age spots isnt that crazy of a thing. Im 42, a night shifter, have a terrible diet but have a decent skin care routine, not a ton of sun exposure and genetics on my side and my skin is pretty darn good.
I imagine if most of us could afford the best aestheticians, devices, diet and have the luxury of not stressing about paying billls or working 'normal' jobs, most of us would look pretty youthful until our early 60s.
@@susan825 Both my mom and sister never had a single wrinkle until menopause, as far as I could tell. Neither of them ever did botox either. I would never buy a beauty advent calendar before seeing everything in it, that's how i decide on it. They are such an investment and i have to know i will get my moneys worth. And i really don't think it will take the fun out of it, they are coming out so early nowadays that when December comes along, i will forget some of it and will be surprised at some level for sure 😅 Hope you feel better ❤
Paris Hilton was annoying and out-of-touch in her 20s when she was at her peak, but she has matured and even makes fun of her younger self. I wish her well. Gwyneth Paltrow needs to just get a grip and go away.
My most important take from this: I need to get into growing saffron like immediately!! Secondly: no way in hell is Paris' face all natural. She's gorgeous but not a chance
I'm 46 years old and I have used all sorts of over the counter lotion coco butter Vaseline. And I do not have really any wrinkles yet. However I know they will show up someday. But I believe keeping hydrate and eating good and expertise does help .
I will wish you a good morning James. While it is very late over there. Yes, I knew nothing about Goop until you posted a video many moons ago. Oops. Never purchased. Thanx! Have a lovely day. 😎🥰
The only thing I don’t like about celebs not being honest about having work done is that it makes people who don’t know better feel bad about not looking as good naturally
I also think that the rapid downturn of luxury skincare brands and products, at least in the U.S., could also be the preparation for another economic recession
I find it so interesting that people who are so into angel numbers completely ignore the fact the creator, Doreen Virtue, said they are “garbage” “regrets making them up”.
I used Goop's moisturizer with high SPF and it felt physically painful to wear. It actually stung and my skin never adjusted. I never bought a drugstore product that did that.
I like Paris Hilton. I think she does business just right. She doesn’t overdo it. She’s not all over the freaking place. She’s rich but I don’t think she acts rude or anything. She works hard as a successful DJ. Not sure if she’s still DJ-ing though. She’s had some rough patches in her life, but she’s handled it very well. I hope her skincare line is great, successful, and somewhat inexpensive. I hope it’s attainable for everyday people
Even those who willingly bought into Goop's snake oil claims knew they weren't true. I think they just wanted to prove to themselves that they had so much money, they could even blow it on what they knew was pointless crap.
Paris grew up with money. And always had access to good skin care and preventative treatment. I believe she had botox a long time ago and hasnt since. And Paltrow needs to jus stop. Her Goop brand is so weird. And she is weird. Lol
You said exactly what I thought 3 seconds after : " "Lets just stop using it..." With all the current options is it THAT important? Great video as always! // oh! Goop needs to go!
Why do you think celebs deny having Botox? When it’s such a common thing nowadays? Or do they just deny it when they have something to sell? 👀
I think it's most likely when they either have something to sell or are lying about their age, potentially for career opportunities, just speculating!
well at the very least it causes a commotion, meaning they will regain the spotlight- so perfect timing to sell something imo…👀

I mean…her forehead doesn’t move but not does the rest of her face right?! I genuinely believe it’s just a lack of showing her emotions on her face lol. The money she has, and living in LA, I think if she was going to have work done, she’d have more than just Botox…and it doesn’t look like she has had much done!
10:37 had me rolling, your american accent is so funny, James 😂
Well Paris Hilton is going with the JLo strategy and claiming she never used botox… and both of their skincare brands are made by the same parent company
I've never purchased any _Goop_ and don't intend to. Her sunscreen was in a couple of beauty boxes I got, and I used them but I don't buy celebrity products.
Byyeee Goop! Don’t let the screen door hit ya’ where the good lord split ya’! 💜
I'm super excited for Paris's upcoming line! I can't wait to try it!
Worked Black Friday this morning at ulta 5 am to noon!!😭😅 but napped and now I’m relaxing to this video thank you!! ❤
You are a brave person out there in the belly of the beast 😊❤
@ I appreciate you🙏🏼
When I was in Dubai at the Souks, I bought a bag full of saffron to bring to a friend. It wasn’t too expensive but it was a few years ago.
Honestly Paris rarely moves her face even when she’s being authentic so I wouldn’t be surprised if she naturally didn’t have many fine lines.
I got Style Koreans advent calendar for this year and am so excited for it. I love that it is all full size products and consider it an investment in my skin care. I would be so upset if I spent a lot of money on an advent calendar and one of the items was string.
Keep your clean crap away from me, we who have worked in labs know. Better living through responsible chemistry forever and always!
Give me all those ‘chemicals’
I rather have CRUELTY FREE !!! Come on… animals don’t have to suffer for our vanity !!!! They suffer too much already .. factory farming etc … I wish MORE ETHICS WOULD BE here … and that you would promote CRUELTY FREE products… otherwise I invite you to read what they do and how they torture animals in labs …… there are infos and videos out there! Please talk about this too - give voice to the voiceless 🙏🙏🙏
It’s 15 Plus years I only use cruelty free and natural and my skin at 45 is really good and I look good.
It's ok if the celebrity has had work done....as long as the products work and are reasonably priced.
I grew up with 11:11 & 1:11 are when you make a wish if you catch those times on your watch, clock, phone etc ...
If I was a multimillionaire I bet I too could have flawless skin …..but I do what I can on a budget!
I think the time of the super celeb is coming to an end. People don't trust them and they're very conscious of the extreme flaunting of wealth during a time when people are really struggling. Having a celebrity front a brand is no longer the draw it was.
Paris is absolutely rich enough to get that look without Botox, I believe her!
I love Paris! Her documentary was so amazing and she’s brave to put out. That’s one beauty line I will buy.
I agree that early 40s with no botox or surgery and still having great skin really isn't THAT crazy or unbelievable. Now if she still looks like that in 15 or 20 years, that would be a bit sus🧐😅
GREAT VIDEO James I really really loved this.
as far as i’m aware, saffron is a very common spice//colouring used particularly in asian cooking - don’t quote me!!
I would never buy a beauty advent calendar before seeing everything in it, that's how i decide on it. They are such an investment and i have to know i will get my moneys worth. And i really don't think it will take the fun out of it, they are coming out so early nowadays that when December comes along, i will forget some of it and will be surprised at some level for sure 😅
Hope you feel better ❤
I also hope Goop will just melt away forever lol
Love this series James!!! So interesting ❤❤
Paris Hilton was annoying and out-of-touch in her 20s when she was at her peak, but she has matured and even makes fun of her younger self. I wish her well. Gwyneth Paltrow needs to just get a grip and go away.
Oooh. I've got some saffron in my kitchen cupboard, am I minted now James?!! 😂
My most important take from this: I need to get into growing saffron like immediately!! Secondly: no way in hell is Paris' face all natural. She's gorgeous but not a chance
The "skin care brand" counter in the corner actually made me giggle for a second.
I'm 46 years old and I have used all sorts of over the counter lotion coco butter Vaseline. And I do not have really any wrinkles yet. However I know they will show up someday. But I believe keeping hydrate and eating good and expertise does help .
I thought the Goop "empire" crumbled many moons ago? 😅
I always watch Alexandria Ryan for advent calendars....she's brutally honest and hilarious
I love this series. Can you please do
Jared Leto and his Twentynine Palms skincare line?
Whaaaaat I didnt know he had a skincare line. Ima have to research this lol
@reneenevermore2771 Yep, but something happened and I can only find vague info about it.
@@plmwrites I was looking at it and I guess the brand is in limbo indefinitely due to Jared cutting ties in 2023. Every product just says coming soon.
@@reneenevermore2771 they didn't say why he cut ties?
@ Something about Jared believing there was a breach of contract and misconduct on the manager’s part.
Loving the new backdrop James! ❤
I will wish you a good morning James. While it is very late over there. Yes, I knew nothing about Goop until you posted a video many moons ago. Oops. Never purchased.
Thanx! Have a lovely day. 😎🥰
That saffron is used in ridiculously priced skin care...that was a bit surprising. I agree with you.
It's not botox, it's a full on facelift.
Love James’ vids, he just says as it is.
The only thing I don’t like about celebs not being honest about having work done is that it makes people who don’t know better feel bad about not looking as good naturally
Happy Holidays James!! 😁
I really enjoy these scandal series ❤
She has def had her lips done. You can see the difference with younger pics
I am not rich, but if I were I would totally buy jewelry from GP's line. I love the jewelry she wears.
I also think that the rapid downturn of luxury skincare brands and products, at least in the U.S., could also be the preparation for another economic recession
I got that Paris Hilton cleanser in an Ipsy box LOL I don’t think I ever got around to using it…
I find it so interesting that people who are so into angel numbers completely ignore the fact the creator, Doreen Virtue, said they are “garbage” “regrets making them up”.
I used Goop's moisturizer with high SPF and it felt physically painful to wear. It actually stung and my skin never adjusted. I never bought a drugstore product that did that.
I think it's the sunscreen because even when i use drugstore sunscreen with a very high spf 75 or higher it's painful
@@kimyoung3160 certainly but this was only SPF 40 or 50 which normally causes me no problems
I hope it’s attainable for everyday people
Saffron rice is very tasty and one small pack costs around 3 Euros in India
Even those who willingly bought into Goop's snake oil claims knew they weren't true. I think they just wanted to prove to themselves that they had so much money, they could even blow it on what they knew was pointless crap.
People are just tired of celebrities period. No matter what they are selling, makeup, movies, and their opinions.
We only used goop when we were working on our cars 😊.
That's always what I think of when I hear goop
LOVE this background ❤
Paris grew up with money. And always had access to good skin care and preventative treatment. I believe she had botox a long time ago and hasnt since. And Paltrow needs to jus stop. Her Goop brand is so weird. And she is weird. Lol
I’m kind of confused about why people care so much about whether celebs get any work done, tbh.
remember catherine mcbrooms skincare line 1212 gateway? yeah we have to stop making our brands sound like scams i think 😭
You said exactly what I thought 3 seconds after : " "Lets just stop using it..." With all the current options is it THAT important? Great video as always! // oh! Goop needs to go!
What microphone do you use? It sounds so good and it’s not even in camera 🔥🥊
Paris' forehead doesn't move at all!! Lol ...not sure if you actually watched the interview during which she made those claims!
I did! And loads more and I see movement!..kind of lol. Maybe she’s had it before as a preventative measure?
Idk.. I naturally don't move my forehead much either 🤷🏻♀️
I feel that there could be also a few more east/southeast Asians in the Sephora squad too. Just my personal opinion 😅 I counted 3 total
Excited for Paris' line!
