    Why do you think celebs deny having Botox? When it’s such a common thing nowadays? Or do they just deny it when they have something to sell? 👀

      Idk. She could be telling the truth. I'm Paris' age and have never gotten botox or any other neuromodulator shots. I don't have anything against it per say, I just don't think the benefits outweigh the risks for me personally. People say I look good for my age, and I mostly agree... Genetics, lifestyle and skincare can go a really long way. 🤷‍♀️

      I think it boils down to vanity. They don't want to admit they need help in any way, shape or form. Celebrities want to come across as effortlessly and endlessly beautiful. And I think the more beautiful they were when younger the more work they get done and protest the loudest.

    • @tanyapoe5490

      A lot of celebrities, that it's obvious that they've had something done, lie about it because they just can't imagine telling people that they needed help to look good. They want people to think they are just naturally THAT beautiful.

    Re saffron: the worst victims of climate change based crop shortages, like saffron and cacao, aren't beauty corporations or the first world consumers that buy them. Its the local folk who grow and harvest the crop, who have a cultural tradition with them, and who will be priced out of buying them bc Estee Lauder wants to market saffron for their latest "clean" beauty launch

    • @orangejuice782
      @orangejuice782 День назад +26

      not only that, but sometimes they will be paid pennies per hour to harvest those crops, and have no choice but to overwork themselves in unworkable weather conditions just to maybe be able to barely feed their families for the day. and this isnt just saffron and cacao, but also some of their staple crops that get sent across the world, leaving the farmers with far less to eat during a bad crop.

      After my grandmother died, we split up her stash of saffron amongst ourselves and her housekeepers. We also gave the housekeepers some money as a final gift from my grandmother. One of them asked for pay for the two months after she'd died, as well, saying she hadn't looked for another job, in case her services were still needed. My aunt reported this to her siblings; they made all the decisions about the estate together, and there was never any question they'd pay this lady, despite the audacity. When my uncle gave his agreement, he said, "Okay, write the cheque." The next thing he did was take that housekeeper's share of the saffron, and give it to me. "Roxana, this is yours," he said. It was loads. I will never run out. Whatever her pay, the saffron was worth more.

    This is the effect of publicly available free information that educates consumers about skincare. This is a huge thank you to RUclipsrs like you!! Skincare is no longer some magical, mysterious, patented nonsense. Brands have been called out and have had to produce better, more competitive, more efficient, and cheaper products that work, or they will be called out. This is similar to what happened to the makeup industry when RUclipsrs started criticizing big brands for lousy products at their price point, and indie brands started selling better and better makeup without any nonsense. ❤🎉❤

    im not really much of a science guy, but don't very common berries like blue- and cranberries have similar properties that saffron is claimed to have? a company actively using an ingredient that does the same things as another but costs hundreds of times as much to produce is, in my opinion, not really looking out for the health of their customers, but rather their profit margins.

As I’m sure you know, Wrinkles happen bc you move your face ( think smile lines or crows feet or Glabella or forehead wrinkles from brow movement) and/or your skin ages, loses collagen and as such loses elasticity and “sags”. So maybe you’ve got like an endless supply of collagen which is incredible haha. I was deeply disappointed when Paris said she doesn't use injectables. I felt like I had been duped and that her public displays of vulnerability were a sales tactic I fell for. If it's true, she shouldn't be making that part of her brand while putting out such highly edited images of herself.

    I didn't know saffron was used in beauty products. I thought it was only used in food. I agree with them looking for an alternative to it in beauty products so that it can be used in food. I got Style Koreans advent calendar for this year and am so excited for it. I love that it is all full size products and consider it an investment in my skin care. I would be so upset if I spent a lot of money on an advent calendar and one of the items was string.
