    Honda Pilot? Those things are goddamn foul looking and lack the cool interior features this vehicle offers. I've checked out all suv's as I'm considering buying and the journey smokes the competition for the interior cleverness. All the rest are bare bones boring

    Have you ever considered making blogs like Motormouth Canada?

      I had a blog for a while but this video stuff takes up too much of my time. But I can say this; things will be changing soon and change is good.

    at that price point, the new Honda Pilot seems a better option.

    • @pedrof830

      More so when you realize this is basically a stretched out Dodge Caliber.

    • @stevehammes

      Let's pretend for a minute that we know the price of the 2016 Pilot...which we don't. A comparable 2015 Honda Pilot costs $44,495. So next year's model might be $46k? See what I mean about bargain priced?

    • @pedrof830
      @pedrof830 9 лет назад +1

      would you feel ok buying a vehicle that will no longer be made in a year or so?

      TestDriveNow.com featuring Drive Time with Steve Hammes Steve, don't forget resale value, the Pilot is high not so for the Journey. Besides the Pilot is a new redesign, the Journey is getting old, BTW my sister bought it for the price, she would have preferred an Equinox or Edge.

      pedrof830 I hear you there...I likely would not. But, I would say that about any vehicle because I'm an early adopter.

    I used to own a 2010 Dodge Journey and I wished I still had it, it was the best car I ever owned, besides the Chrysler Pacifica. I loved both of them. They were sort of the same, power wise. And most of the inside, except the Journey had lots of storage nooks and crannies. I miss My Dodge Journey. ❤

      I intend to buy a 2015 dodge xst which was previously owned by enterprise. Now it has 155k miles on it. I am not sure if I should proceed.

    have to say a Journey is slow especially with the 4 cylinder the engine seems to be real weak for the suv now i would recommend the v6 but far as room their nice and worth the price

      @straighttothepoint2717 3 года назад +1

      if you get the awd journey with the v6 and a tune its faster than the same year charger v6

    The Dodge Journey Crossover SUV is a good Crossover and it's alright too... But to be honest the 1 big mistake that Chrysler made is that... They should've put the battery at the left bottom behind of the front bumper. It should've been on top beside the engine instead of the bottom. It would of been much easier to take out if it was on top instead of the bottom left behind of the front bumper... That you don't half to take off the wheel off and the panel behind the bumper to make things harder for people that have the vehicle. I don't know what Chrysler was thinking to do such a foolish way to put the battery there. "Biggest Mistake Chrysler Made".

    This is the perfect vehicle for people who need 3 rows and are getting the stink outta Dodge. I have a large family and my wife, who is a circus midget (she prefers "performing little person"), will comfortably fit in the 3rd row.
    Once again Steve Hammes sets the bar for automotive review excellence. Boo Yeah!

    $21k when it first came out seemed like a bargain compared to others in the class, but at $34k now? I'd look elsewhere,sorry Dodge.

      The lower trim are still very cheap the trim he is showing here is the higher end with the v6 engine.

    had a journey as a rental, it was pretty terrible, switched it for a GMC arcadia instead, so much nicer on the highway. I know, not the same class at all.

    I wish somebody would show journey towing something

    • @jjs777fzr
      @jjs777fzr 8 лет назад

      +alberto vazquez why? The v6 is rated for 2500lbs towing which is fine for my needs. I'm in the market for one now and was hoping to save money with the inline 4 cylinder option but its 500lb tow rating will not suffice.

    16mpg in the city for a crossover? Thats awful!

    • @lSeKToRl
      @lSeKToRl 9 лет назад

      It's one of the largest cross overs with a v6 vvt engine. Most crossovers I see are v4 turbo charged engines. Down side is slightly worse mpg up side is much better torque and horsepower for lugging things or towing 1500lbs.
