I had a 2006 Dodge Caravan 3.3L and it performed very well until now... but this 2015 Journey R/T really perfectly fit for me and my family needs specially for a long drive during summer, I like its functionality and versatility as a family hauler.
I've had my 2015 Journey RT for just over three years now. I absolutely love it. I don't know if this is normal or not, but I actually get between 8 and 9 litres per hundred on the highway, better than advertised. I drove the Coquihalla highway in British Columbia in the dead of Winter with the stock 19 inch all-season tires, and with the AWD, I had no issues whatsoever in the snow. I'm thinking of buying a 2nd Journey as a work vehicle.
After test driving every major car companys suv 20000 or under me and my wife went back for the metallic silver dodge journey r/t. every option but moonroof we love it
Great review in real life driving conditions. Our family is in Australia and are deciding on a 7 seater, with the Dodge being one of the contenders. I was keen to keep the 3.6 V6 as the engine and your review only enhanced my view. Thank you for your honest thoughts.
I bought my fully loaded 2015 Dodge Journey R/T only a month ago and I liked it, has a good grip on the snow laden road and has an awesome power under the hood.
I know of one person who needed a transmission rebuild on his journey but he bought his car from a third party dealer. all cars break down from time to time...the pentastar motor is strong and the tranny that is mounted to it is decent.
Thanks for your review. Here in Germany you don't see these American cars very often. So it's a kind of an exotic car over here. I'm interesting in buying exactly this model. So I'm looking for reviews right now.
in have a 2014 dodge journey limited awd. love it so far. does really well in the winter but i do think with a different set of tires it could be better. the suspention is realy good. the only thing i would like is a rearview camera and navigation. will be contacting my local dealer to see how much extra it would be for both features
I just had my second child and I needed a bigger car, I test drove so many crossovers/suvs and I was about to give up when I said screw it and check out the Dodge Journey. Honestly I was staying away from American cars mainly because I’m afraid it won’t be as reliable as my Honda’s and the resale value is shit compared to a Honda or Toyota. Anyway i love almost everything about this car and I’m really happy with it. I bought a 2014 Dodge Journey rt rally and I’m really happy, I feel like I’m driving I high end car lol and I can still enjoy driving with this man van lol. but I gotta say I’m worried a bit, I’m afraid it’s not going to be reliable and start braking down on me. I hope it doesn’t though because I’m so happy with this car.
How's the Journey fairing Jason? I'm looking into getting a 2015 RT trim. But like you I am worried that it won't last as long as the Toyota and Honda vehicles I've had in the past. Any updates would help! Thanks :)
Think it would be possible to exchange the steering wheel with an SRT steering wheel? since the journey has an exact same steering wheel as the dodge charger
I do have the same car but I like it while riding on the icy road and not bad as well if some audi A4 or bmw serie 2 or 3 or some suv nissan, sedan with with 2 liter turbo want to race
+David La you must ask your friends..do they own one? or is it a friend of a friend of a friend that had it "break down" I have a 2013 r/t and no probs at all and I have 145,000 k on it( I drive a lot) I had an 82 omni turbo, 85 caravan LE,90 shadow turbo, 94 grand caravan, 2003 grand caravan, 2003 srt4 , i put well over 400,000 trouble free kms on those..apart from batteries, tires and brakes, normal items, no probs at all..well except when a stone went through my rad on the 85 caravan, cost 40 dollars and ten minutes to put in a new rad myself.
2018 models likely to stay the same, IF the Journey name keeps rolling down the assembly line, it may begin a redesign next year but we wouldn't see the results until 2019.
love my dodge journey

Me too, also in BC. Still liking it?
Your review was the help I needed to say yes to my wife to buy it! Great review ! thank you
Do you still have it?
Don’t purchase, this car has lots of problems
I have a 2015 AWD Dodge Journey R/T, I like it a lot.Went through winter with no issues.

After test driving every major car companys suv 20000 or under me and my wife went back for the metallic silver dodge journey r/t. every option but moonroof we love it

thanks Jenny. you definitely can't go wrong with the journey. it's a great vehicle.
Got a good deal (new) on my 2015 RT Journey. Although it is front wheel drive, my wife and I love it.
What is your feedback about your Journey? Any major issues or troubles?
Love the horse power of 3.6 Pentastar. I own 2017 Crossroad and I am glad we got it.

I LOVE my Dodge Journey, after always owning and loving my Jeeps too. I still need to learn the uconnect though.
I bought one a few weekd ago I get like 10 mpg in town. That's horrible. It is cuz the motot hasn't been broken in yet? It onky has 30 miles on it

Maik H. Its a world car, you might find it under a different badge. Fiat owns At least 40% of Chrysler.
Hammer true. Fiat sells it under the name Freemont over here, but with a 170hp Diesel engine.
But it's not the same. 😊
I want one so bad

Nate Rice I got one with AWD, RT,Navi and camera pearl black. Love it
I would assume the limited model would have a nav and back cam, isn’t limited the highest trim?
I really do not like Chrysler products at all, but this is pretty nice, I'd probably buy this just because the offer is unbeatable.
I just got mine I love it

How’s it holding up
Ive got the 2019 se 3.6l its god awful gas mileage average is about 10 miles per gallon. Maybe the engine gotta get broke in 1st idk
Yea around 15k that's when u see fair gas mileage
My journey has thr 3.6l penastar. It pulls my boat like nothing
Hopefully i get the one i applied for...
The outlet in the back is 110 volt

Beastie boys!
i've consider to buy one this year but all my pals tell me it's not reliability and prone to breaking down. How familiar are you with this?

The journey will be discontinued after 2016
Wrong. The Journey is renewed until at least 2018, when it's expected to get a make over.
Wrong will be redesigned in 2018.

Great review, how tall are you?
Went to look at one today.. needs work.. a/c didnt work .. stealerships should make sure cars are not subpar when advertising..
