What good is it to "ignore" the damage mistreatment has done to our community? Many young people believe all the work has been done and there is no need to struggle. When the caller pointed out the deficiencies of our community in Atlanta, why was he attacked as if he did not know what he was talking about?
I too was confused about this occurring. Everytime I've been to Atlanta, I've been reminded by how power has been wielded by the wealthy Black folks to hold over the poorer Black folks. Nobody lives in actual ATL because it's too expensive! So many times I've talked to people down there and they say they are forced to live outside the perimeter. Also, why are they spending money on a cop training facility and killing people over it down there while there are major infrastructure issues, ie. plumbing issues (not just the recent one)??? Seems awfully anti-Black. The game is not exactly as simple as some think it is. Black mayors do NOT guarantee progress for all Black people. A lot of them are actually doing things that white conservatives would do. I feel like Black leadership only exists to police the poor Black and Brown communities covertly. I don't think it's done on purpose, but it seems like a symptom of existing in a white supremacist system. We REALLY need to reconsider what power we think our leaders wield. I for one am tired of the low bar that is held for what we think is political power. The only political power that matters these days is behind the bench , in the city council, and at the state house of legislators. People need to look up who these people are because they are deciding how their lives are going to be dictated. Project 2025 is all about putting harmful people into these places too, not just in Washington DC. I need people to open their eyes

We do own a bank in Atlanta. It is a great city with great leadership. Plus Atlanta is the reason Georgia turned blue. That is why white America is freaking out; if we vote we would be unstoppable. We could get reparations; maybe not a check but federal benefits just for us.

Let me throw a "monkey wrench" into the analogy and suggest that, since melanemic people have 98% of pure homosapien DNA mixed with 2% Neanderthal DNA and Africans who never migrated out of Africa are the only humans to have 100% homosapien DNA, we need to understand what it means that our closest primate relatives have a DNA profile that is 99% of the homosapien profile and that those known as Bonobos exhibit more compassion for others in their species than certain groups of melanemic people seem to have for members of their species. As some of those melanated Africans who migrated out of the continent got trapped and isolated in a resource poor region of the world during the last ice age, mutated and inbred, aka devolved, as they adapted to the environmental conditions in an attempt to survive, was some part of their humanity altered or bred out of them such that they fail all "children of the sun" measurements/characteristics to one degree or another?
