Interesting new device from Moog. A bit of a surprise so soon after Spectravox dropped. This is been the most bizarre product release I've ever witnessed!! 😀
maybe try other vids, like Jan Juno's tweaking-the-hell-out series? I dunno, I had none to low expectations, and now thinking it might be the first synth I might buy in recent years (a sampler/musique concrete person here). there's something special in it, like a very organic blend of many blocks - from control to (not listed) saturation, from generative (which I dislike in principle) to sequenced. might be wrong, ofc, but it deserves a better look I guess
It's not going to blow people's minds on first use. The random nature of the pitch sequencer means it's always going to be hit and miss in terms of immediate musical usability. But Moog have given a ton of tone building blocks--FM/RM/WShaping/multimode filter--so it's definitely more of an explore and happy accident machine.
16 if you chain them, but they also run in parallel and can be set to different lengths (and mixed) so there can be much "longer" variation within those 8 steps.
Well done Moog. Most interesting thing in a while.
It's going to be very interesting to pair this with the spectravox as a carriersignal. looking forward to get my hands on one of these 🙂
Behringer Maze in .3...2...1...
This'll sound great paired with my subharmonic-randomicon... 😊

Did I just have huge expectations or is this thing a bit underwhelming?
It sounds underwhelming because this guy do not know know how to use it in the slightest.

@@VM_VM1987 Don't let a-holes drag you down. Thanks for the vid.
How did you get rhis?
Good to see MooginMusic making something new to go alongside the DFAM SubH and mother 32.
💙
Color me underwhelmed. 😐
What does it do?
Nothing really interesting...
What’s the max sequence length, 8?
