So happy to see you doing this one , it's one of my favourites, before they lost Earl and J.None. Dreamy, isn't it? Another one that's just pure harmony is True Colours.

Possibly my very favorite piece by Voiceplay. The harmony is gorgeous, no beatboxing but it worked without. And the runs and movement throughout - glorious. Thanx again for doing this Voiceplay week, I appreciate it so much.

Ahhh…my favorite VoicePlay song for sheer harmonies. I think this is so lovely. No extremes sticking out, just awesome blending of voices. The ending is my favorite part. Thanks for your reaction.

Like you, I always wonder how singers will cover this because Elvis was so classic and it's hard to change it up. It's so straight forward and sometimes there's not a lot of room to expand it (even in Pentatonix version, it was played pretty close to the original). But VoicePlay was able to bring key and timing changes into it that it feels different and yet like home sweet home, it's comfortable and warm and familiar all the same. And like so many of the other listeners, I miss this particular version of VoicePlay members. Ah, the good ol' days!

I have told many reactors who are new to VP that this should be on their list to react to. For me it's up there with their best work such as Hoist the Colors. Reason being is because it shows just how amazing they are. No costumes or complicated arrangements. Just their voices paying tribute to an amazing song in and incredibly tasteful way. Good to see you react to it and enjoy it.

Yes!!! Another favorite! All of my favorite Voiceplay videos are from before Earl left!

If you didn't do it already, please check out Friends on the Other Side. Everyone shines, but especially J None!

Just lovely. I concur with Christine that True Colors will not be out of place in anyone's heart.

This is one of my top 5 favourites! Those beautiful, pure harmonies, 🎶 Layne singing, 😊 and of course there's Geoff! 💜 This one makes me feel calm, warm and snuggly! Glad you enjoyed it too, can't wait to see what you have for us next. 🙂👍

I think one thing that’s hard when somebody is doing a cover, is separating out the coverage of the song and not the other artist. It’s especially hard with icons like Queen and Elvis to not compare them to the version they did. I love the version by Elvis. It’s always been one of my favorites. And someone else doing a beautiful version of the same song does not detract in any way from what he did. If anything it’s an honor to him because they felt that the song was worthy of their time and effort. It’s always frustrating to me as a viewer to watch a reactor not like a song regardless of who does it because it’s not done “the same way” that another artist did it. I try not to compare the two artists. I like to see how the each artist treated the piece of music.
I am so glad that you did the same thing with Tennessee Whiskey. You stated that you loved the version Chris Stapleton did. But you were also able to appreciate that VoicePlay took the same song and changed it just enough to make it their own while still leaving the song intact.

Voice Play are so underrated. This cover is the most beautiful cover ever done by anyone. Even better than Elvis. Thank you for reacting to it.

Love your reactions, thanks. If you REALLY want to see one of their older ones that's very different, check Once Upon a Dream. It's very well done and almost never covered. 2015. I absolutely love it.

Check out Geoffs solo version of Way Down. It's a hilarious nod without trying to mimick Elvis

Love your reviews but not a fan of them. If you're going to cover an Elvis song you have to impress me and I had to stop listening about half way thru. Just hated it. When you grew up loving Elvis and saw him live this did nothing for me Sorry.
