How to trim an overgrown cedar hedge. Professional POV

Hey everyone! I have bene trimming hedges for 15 years and have picked up a few tricks along the way. Watch along as I fly through this quick hedge reduction.
I ship any branches near com lines with my pole pruner
I'll use a polesaw for any thicker cuts
I'll then trim the top with my hedge trimmer.
I use my ladder as my guide. I know the ground is level, so I make all my cuts at the "top of the ladder" height.

For the audio, look at a DJI mic 2. One receiver and 2 mics. Can also use multiple receivers and more mics and then sync in post processing

Have you tried the Milwaukee M18 telescoping shears yet? I have the M12 hand shears and poo pooed them at first but I really like them for cutting Leyland or Crypto limbs. Or cutting down limbs to put in my Square Barrel.

Hey, no, I have not tried them yet! I am really picky about my hedge trimmers so they have to be lighter and as functional of what I currently have. I’ll have to look into that.
