Playlist Productions - Purple Rain | Color My World Carnival Venezia Day 9 of 33 Feb. '24

Playlist Productions' latest creations, Carnival Cruiselines' Color My World, has been installed on several ships since0 the 2019 shut-down. I simply cannot tire from watching this rendition of Purple Rain. It is, in my opinion, the best choreographed and scored piece performed regularly on the high seas. Although I have been familiar with Prince rendition of the piece, it has not resonated with my 60'-70's music vibe until I experienced this current rendition. I had a similar experience with the music of Queen. I was, to be quite honest, not dialed in to the "Rock" scene during my teens (accoustic was more my thing back then) and Queen music not much a part of my life . . until Wayne and Garth turned Bohemian Rhapsody into THE 80's cult groove. Years later I saw We Will Rock You, the musical, on stage in London and my life has not been the same since. I suppose it can be said that at times, musical covers can/will outperform original tracks. I hope music has added as much pleasure to your life as it has mine. My hope is that you can be as fortunate as I have been this past decade, and to have been able to experience some live musical performances. In a mean time, I hope you have enjoyed this recording.
