Difference in performance: AC vs no AC in a 2024 isuzu D-Max D/C 1.9 LS

This was an interesting test! I'd like to see a test like this repeated with a high performance vehicle. I'm sure the impact of an aircon on a 300kw+ engine would be less significant.

I always knew that the AC on was slowing the car down, even better that someone does detailed testing like this.
I vouched for the other commenter below on windows down w/o AC compared to with AC on.

This car is diesel i suppose from the rev range. AC takes from the engine torque. I suggest having this test in a petrol car, we have a hyundai i10 1.2 petrol auto, the ac definitely impacts the performance more than 1 second imo. Cool test, nicely done, and straight to the point. I love it!

You could test AC on vs Windows down AC off.
