How do you wire the analog signals and the LI1/2? Sink or source wiring?

If you're taking your cables from the start/stop/forward/reverse buttons, is it necessary to use a sort of relay for engaging Normally open/Normally close contact's? OR can we just take the cables directly to the VSD terminals as you have done it on this video..

Hi, if your happy to just use the controls of the unit (run, stop, speed) is there a reverse option when required directly on the unit as I'm not noticing? or can you just add one simple switch via those connections to give you a reverse/forward feature, while using the units controls direct? Hello. For my school project we use th atv12. We use the 2 wire control and a PLC sends the signals. That all works fine. but we also need to make it so that when th PLC sends a signal the motor will run at a lower speed. Do you know how to do that ?

I have one question. I have a machine whose speed of movement (forward/backward) is controlled via this VFD and potentiometer. The problem I have is, that if I set the speed on the potentiometer to 1 (from 1 to 10), then the motor (drive) rotates slowly as it should. But there is not enough torque (i suppose so) and the drive can not move the device which is relatively heavy. The machine has a gear ratio 20:1 but....Is there anything I can change on VFD to increase this? Thank you
How is your motor windings set up, delta or star? if don’t know what that means check out the vary first video I have ever maid. Also its available in description.

What type are the 3 wire buttons? Are they from schneider? Could u send the productcode? They look very robust.
