- ORIGINAL ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
I finally have these games working in high quality! I installed Windows 3.1 in DOSBox and after learning commands to mount a cd drive, I could finally start these games and record them with Camtasia. Don't get why they still run in 640x400 instead of 640x480, though. Because of the better environment, I was able to include the radio commercials and the telephones in each area. No TV or full songs though, as they are copyrighted. The original Sesame Street Letters Longplay will be taken down on July 8, 2014. Enjoy!
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
FUN FACT: This game was first released as A Visit to Sesame Street: Letters in 1991 on the Philips CD-i.
"Move your star to something that sparkles and press the button!" Which button? There's two!
I have really been waiting and working hard to make this happen. This was really hard and frustrating to get working, but I managed to do it so y'all can enjoy this game.

This and Sesame Street Numbers were the very last media to feature Jim Henson as the voice of Ernie and Kermit the Frog...thankfully, he was able to record all his parts before his death.
Rest in peace, Jim...it's still not the same without you.
The first previously recorded performances by Jim Henson, including Kermit in a Disney stage show, a 3D film attraction and Ernie in two Sesame Street live shows were opened in between 1990 and 1991, following his death.

When your in exploring Sesame Street part if you move the star to something that sparkles and leave it there without clicking for a while Oscar and Telly say what they are.
It also turns from orange to purple when you're playing a game, too!

I remember this game, but I swear I thought we traveled with elmo the whole time. Man it must have been years since I've seen this again.
I was around 6-7 when playing it only to have lost it a year after. I wonder where it went. Oh well, this brought back many memories. I'd always play this first before any other game in my dad's pc
Sesame Street Letters (CD-ROM Longplay #22)
I have used to play this game when I was probably 5 or 6, and it brings me back memories. I liked playing paper clips at Ernie's place, especially doing rhymes at Big Bird's, even Snuffy's but I love this spider music at 31:06 🥰
@thanomyloans2585 Over 20 years ago.
The shapeomatic game was and still is just as hysterical as when I first played it
I met Carroll spinney in Indianapolis comic con
P is the first letter of the word "Posthumous", like Jim Henson's posthumous voice-over as Ernie and Kermit the Frog in this game.
I remember this game when I was a kid.
6:13 Bottle starts with the letter (head goes crazy) B
I remember playing this game at school when I was younger.
I didn’t have it, the school had it. the last time I’ve played it I was 8 years old when I played that game during my free time at school.
When I played this when I was little I really loved playing Ernie’s Shape-o-Matic game.
I don’t know, all I know is I used to play it sometimes when I go to my grandmas place.

31:59-32:18 That's the only time in Big Bird or Snuffy's house where you hear Bert on the phone as far as I know!
This takes me back to my childhood
I was first introduced to this (edition) of the game in elementary school. For some reason when I played it at home, non of the places sparkled
you should've make a full version of snuffy call like "4 cabbages in a year at once".
or
''snuffleupagus letter line". you got that? in the next video you can.
17:37 has Harvey Kneeslapper been to Ernie and Bert's before?
