    The new update makes it so much easier to have a visual in the app to make that adjustment.

    Awesome, thank you for always putting up great content 🤘🏻 Preston Pedals makes excellent products, did you run into any phase issues with the dual amp setup?

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  3 месяца назад

      I’ve noticed playing around with different captures from different people that sometimes one gain stage to the next will be out of phase with each other from the same amp. When I was recording this video, I did not run into any phasing issues with these amps in particular.

    From my research the gain knob on the tonex does the exact same thing as the input trim basically like a clean boost. So you can set your input trim at one value and then use the gain knob to adjust for individual guitars and save the presets with the gain setting you want for that guitar but set the input trim one time and leave it alone. Ps thanks for all your work on your channel!

    • @TheBukman
      @TheBukman 3 месяца назад +2

      This makes most sense.
      You can then save the amp gain setting as a preset for the particular guitar which you can't do with the input trim as it is global.
      Input trim has to be set and forget.

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  3 месяца назад +1

      Agreed! I read that in the manual after I recorded this video. But just like I said in the video I would find an input gain that works with all my guitars - meaning back it off to where it sounds the best with my most gain-y guitar (in my case about -2) and then adjust the gain and volume with the knob per guitar.

    Oof! I wasn't liking the way the Tonex One mounted to my pedalboard because of the rubber base and here you just peeled it off. I don't know why I didn't think to do that. 😳
    As always, great stuff, Jimmy!

    The clean was good. But for overdrive, Is this the new worship, fizzy gain clouded by all of the reverb and delays. Thanks for the tips on the Tonex though

    Dang! You use a plastic pry bar for your pedals? I have to put like 0.5 in.sq. of dual lock or I can never get the pedals off my board!

    • @HeyWorshipLeader

      You’re not wrong. I tend to put too much because I used to use the cheap stuff and on little pedals they’d always come lose. Now I got the good stuff and I keep forgetting!

    Hi! Awesome video as alway! Please, can you explain the fx chain with tonex one? I thought that it should be in the fx loop, so you can put reverb and delay after it, but i can see you are using it different. Thank you!

    At 10:20 of the video, what reverb and delay are you using on the stomp? Sounds amazing!

    • @HeyWorshipLeader

      It’s the transistor tape delay (custom settings) paired with the dynamic Hall Reverb (stock settings mostly)

    Thank you for your video! I do have a lingering question, one that seems to be skipped over a lot. Maybe you can help? For context (if it helps) Im running mono and playing through a tele.
    I am new to the world of modeling, and one thing i've found with the Tonex one, is after i load up my amp (from either the presets or from the "Home" tab), the tonex overall volume level somehow seems to be significantly reduced. I have a similar setup as you, running [guitar > Tonex > interface]. I have noticed while connected to the computer and playing any amp from the library, volume isn't an issue. Its only when i load the amp to the pedal when it becomes an issue. Is this because of the volume trim or is it something else?
    Lastly, when you grab an amp and load it up (from presets or library), do you make all your amp adjustments on the pedal itself or within the software, or a little bit of both? Or would it be 'better' as in simpler, to leave everything in the software at noon, then adjust on the pedal?
    I watch these videos and everyone seems to get just amazing tone out of this pedal, but man, im on the struggle bus with this one. 😅

      I do find that I get less volume into my interface than let's say the HELIX...I haven't had too much time to investigate but seems like a good video idea when I get it figured out! Thanks

      @@HeyWorshipLeader Thanks for the feedback! I actually resolved my issue. I was messing around with the volume limiter and global volume and it resolved all my issues.
      I found +3.0 db on the limiter through a tele sounds pretty good through a 66 AC30!

      @@HeyWorshipLeader It'll be awesome! Mooer has the GE multifx series. The GE250/GE300/GE300lite and the preamp live are capable of doing tone captures, while some of their other products can only load the captures that you can download from their website. Also, I believe they have an app that you can use on an iPad to capture amps as well.

    the power not being isolated on 2 digital pedals is concerning as far as noise goes

    • @prestonpedals
      @prestonpedals 3 месяца назад +1

      In certain and specific cases, you could run into issues sharing digital power.
      If you are on an isolated power supply of high quality you won’t have any issues. Usually the reason people have issues is when the milliamp requirement is high for both pedals, between different pedals/manufacturers, or the initial power source is not isolated. Not to say I have tried every combination and every scenario, but in all my testing I have had zero issues!
