This group is actually continuing a good tradition in my opinion, they have a very simple harmony compared compared to the Hallelujah the professional SNC made, but I like the simple harmony as it relaxing. And really, its hard to expect such a great group as the original, they were exceptionally talented and still are.
fantastic harmony...but my ear tells me you missed a harmonic line right in the beginning of the song, sounds like you hit a parallel fourth or something in there, other than that gorgeous
The band isn't called Straight No Chaser. As soon as the current Straight No Chaser group took it professional, the Indiana University group changed their name to "Another Round."

these boys did a good job, but just to be perfectly honest, the lead singer was a bit....well, "pitchy" in quite a lot of places...but I still applaud their work..
Good group of guys! Their voices were blended, and the solos were all well done. Only thing is the first guy, who appears to be the lead, was pretty pitchy. PS you guys have a kickass bass singer
You do know that sound production is done live as well, right? And to live recordings. Also the recording equipment here is probably of lesser quality. I've listened to bunches of non-professional A Capella groups on and off recording, and often times the recording makes them sound worse. That's not to say that the older SNC guys aren't better; experience helps. But it's not as big a difference as it seems.
The "Good" SNC group is just guys from this group who graduated college. The big difference between the two that you hear is just a bunch of expensive post-production.
They are probably a replacement version still singing at the school. Been going on since the original group graduated, but the campus group is now called "Another Round."
Your group is so wonderful, Praying that you get a record contract. Keep up the beautiful sound that we all need to hear
Absolutely BREATHTAKING....
Holy crap you guys are really good!!! I wish I coulda been there, I'm crying from here
So impressive! Your voices are so magical! I love this, incredible job!
I love "straight no chaser"
awesome

wonderful.
it would be nice if they could come to south texas , further south than san antonio !

umm. look up Straight NO Chaser on RUclips all of the performances are live and awesome
Have you watched the older SNC perform live? They are fantastic. What are you even talking about?
Good!
@PK292TSM They will forever be in that shadow
The.. The one in the middle. I want him.
Are the two on the far left brothers??? They look alike. Several adorables in this group too... :)

Other than the IU connection how are these guys related to SNC?
heritage

These boys are so cute, but there's no comparison between them and the grown-up SNC group
And probably talent, too, somewhat. Talent waxes and wanes in college groups as people come and go.
@mymojo34 in no way

I have a hard time picturing these people as younger SNC. I'm not buying it.
This is not Straight no Chaser. None of these guys are in the group.
As always, google is your friend, Sherlock.

No one can sing this song as well as Pentatonix!
So true! I got to see them in concert earlier this year during the summer time!! I had a blast. 😊😊😊😍😊
No Black Guy?!?!?!?!
Maybe none at the school tried out?
They need someone black to sing that just like the other group.
