Love how thorough your review was The design and the sound of this keyboard is just perfect, in my opinion Subbed. Would never have found this keyboard without your vid!
@@Lv7Kevin Always good to set Milestones! I hope the right person gets that keyboard too. There are definitely some people who deserve it, but there are also those who definitely don't. I hope to reach 100 subs soon myself as a music and gaming channel. Bought my first keyboard like a year ago at a thrift store. Its a Corsair K70. Its ok, but now I live in a camper with my mom so I had to get rid of it sadly. Good luck on your goal!
Thank you! You're the only reviewer that has shown what the extra key caps look like. I think Kailh midnight pro slient tactiles would make this a perfect board.
I really like they way this one sounds and is a killer look i hope more people watch your stuff it very satisfying to watch these reviews and other video you do
Your Akira keyboard video is what convinced me to buy my first mechanical keyboard, rather than using a random keyboard from a friend. Still haven't worked up the courage to customize it, but your content inspires me every day!
Firstly I would say it's up to personal preference. Typically I would say linear switches (like the plastic) for gaming and tactile switches (like the browns) for typing. If you want to further optimize your gaming/typing experience I would actually just replace the switches with your own because the board is hot swappable. Hope this helped!
As always, you definitely pull through with your reviews! This was great to see, and seems like a really cool board. I'm probably in the same boat as you, I don't know how those lighter linear switches would work for me, since I use the akko lavenders that you suggested. Great video, and good luck with the rest of them to come!
This is a pretty unique board. I appreciate the detailed but not drawn out review. And I like that you discuss preference, I happen to agree woth most of yours but understand that is not everyone's cup of tea.
Seems like a pretty good board as is. The design is definitely loud, which I can see being off-putting for some people, but I appreciate that it's at least a little different from what companies normally put out
Agreed, their smaller Mojo 68 comes in other colors which don't have any of the printed designs on them. Maybe in the future they'll offer more colors for this board as well.
I'm currently using the smaller Mojo 68 with Holy Panda X switches and GMK redacted keycaps. I was planning on making a video of that build, but then I got the chance to review this board and I took it.
I was unfamiliar to the “Off-White” clothing brand , but I do like the theme it has going on. It gives me off an industrial sort of vibe. Yes, I’m not going to lie, I’m still a keyboard noob, so I couldn’t really tell why the switches were unique. I can already spot a couple of Switches, like the Cherry MX Red, but definitely not these Box Plastic switches yet. I like that it includes some alternative keycaps to add that extra touch of pizzazz to the keyboard. Those orange rubber gaskets holding the plate in place, certainly make the keyboard look more contemporary, adding that, “nice pop of color,” that you mentioned. I personally enjoy when designers use clashing color to create contrast, which looks awesome against the transparent body, in a sense, making it look more fashionable, if you will. I also like that it has a clear case, because I like being able to see the innards of objects, particularly, utilitarian ones, because it gives a better sense of when I need to give them a round of maintenance. I didn’t understand what the “poron dampeners” were. Not trying to be a brown noser here, but I’m also more of a fan of a silent keyboard, mainly, because I hate waking people up or calling attention when I’m on the computer. So the Mojo 84 by MelGeek having a muted and dense sounding key profile, is a plus in my book. I’m glad it has the LED indicator that displays whether the caps lock is activated or not, I hate not knowing when it’s toggled on/off and wasting time typing and not realizing why my passwords don’t go through. I like that feature. Simple, but effective. It being hot-swappable further makes it more desirable, because it could be a good keyboard to learn the ropes of how to swap keyboard switches around. I like your video edition, it makes your presentation look pretty clean.
@@Lv7Kevin I have a 5 degree board with them in a hot swappable board, it’s so satisfying with the brass plate and foam but I hate they keycaps 🤢 good luck on 5k but I hope I win :)
I keep on seeing this board in Pinterest especially its counterpart color and I totally love the aesthetics of the keyboard. It's my first time seeing a review of this one here in RUclips and the acoustic of the keyboard is indeed better than most of the prebuilt keyboards. Sad to say I am living from the Philippines and I can't join your giveaway :(( new subscriber here btw!
I personally like the smaller size of the mojo 68 and I've been using it for a couple of months now. I'm so glad they made a larger size so more people can enjoy it with their own preference!
Already placed my pre order! It's so nice to see a board that actually comes well lubed. I think im gonna get my self a set of NP keycaps and some Boba silent linears to go along with this board. I've held out on buying a new board for a while but I think this might be my new main for a while :)

Appreciate it!

what's better for gaming and typing - the plastic or the brown switches?

are the swithces modded kailh jades? thats what they look like
Could be recolored, but I'm not 100% sure.
May I know the typing software you used?
Monkey Type. It has a lot of settings that you can customize.
Great video overall! Liked, commented, and subscribed. U deserve it!
Thank you!
How's the melgeek software to use for remapping/layers?
It's very nice to use. Similar to VIA in that it updates the keys immediately. And you can do everything you want including changing the lighting.
Great Review Keep Going
