Holy smooooth animations, killer job man!
randomfrankp I love you
Wait I just saw your video too! Haha thank youu
Love the new video
I like your videos Frank and Taeha
Came here for this. Animations for simple things like key cap sizing was real nice. Same aesthetic and feel to the intro.

Ngl Still, to me, no channel beats your photography
So jelly of your video quality. I think the community has needed a video like this for a long time. Very concise for a lot of the new people joining.
True I relatively recently joined and it was so insanely hard to get started. We need more videos like this to bring custum mechanical keyboards to the mainstream, just like custom PC's.
@@gregtv1467 i dont wanna be a gatekeeper but i kinda dont want it to go mainstream, i liked the little community of enthusiasts before this blew up.

Wish I had this as a resource a month ago while building my first mech. Taeha is really opening this hobby up to a whole new group of nerds. love it
Great video! everything explained really clearly and I feel like your cozy Jazz songs are so key to setting the tone of what keyboard building really is!
Yes, please! YES! I hope you keep this series up and keep it as informative as possible for beginners to this hobby. It's a steep learning curve with all the abbreviations, different build types (i.e. casket mount) and ways to buy certain parts (group buy).
I'm just here to see taeha. No need to relearn anything :)
Beautiful! Thanks for the thorough and simplistic rundown. The mech keyboard universe is in dire need of beginner's material, and this has everything someone would need to get started. This is the manual for anyone who is looking to get into the hobby. THANK YOU!!
Thank you. I'll be getting a mechanical keyboard soon and finding beginner friendly videos has been extremely hard frustrating. Your video stands out as the only thorough and beginner friendly video I could find.
this is a really lovely and informative video. thank you taeha.
yeah bro we dont care
The production in this video is really slick ngl
Thanks. I am relatively new to the mechanical keyboard scene, and although I already know much of the things talked about with switches, stabs, etc, it was really helpful for knowing more about things like plates and key cap profiles. 👍👍👍
This is amazing! Thank you so much, I love your other vids too. This one just confirms what I've managed to piece together over the last year, haha. I've already just purchased a hotswappable and some extra switch types. What would be great for future concise videos like this would be: how to source less expensive than GMK but still quality keycaps, tools for modding, and how to navigate group buys. These are my next steps. Also I'm glad this is a safe space to talk about lube, sans judgement.
Okay this is really weird...I was literally just thinking yesterday “I could use a super solid beginners guide to mechanical keyboards” and here it is!
Great video, best one for beginners out there! Thanks for making this Nate :)
High Quality. Organized. Informative. Expect nothing less from you. Well done!
Your video quality and overall vibe is excellent. Liked the knife part in the beginning
Thank you so much for this video I wanted to build my keyboard but didn’t want to solder but know I know I don’t have to do that if I get a hot swap pcb
Mannn I wish taeha uploaded on RUclips more, this is great! On a side note, my glorious pandas just came in, and my banana split switches are coming tomorrow!
Oh my gosh! RUclips why did you not suggest this video when I was searching for beginner's guides a week ago. This is so clear and concise! So many other videos assume you already know a bunch about this field. Thanks so much for the great video! I've joined the Discord now :) excited to learn more!
This was long time coming. I've been waiting since the day I started watching your video & you tossed this idea on a stream. Can't wait for the next. Lots of love Taeha!
You really do be standing at the front of the Keyboard cummunity showing the world how it goes
anyone know what jacket he's wearing? asking for a friend
Following! He looks great with that jacket!!!
Everything about this video is high quality. The animations, the visuals, the explanations…everything. Thank you and great job! 👏 🙏
Great production value and really informative for newcomers!
The animations are so smooth and illustrate very well the topics.
Keep it going, Taeha!
Does anyone know where you can get skyblue PUDDING keycaps? I legit cant find them anywhere online beside in expensive cotton candy bundles and I just want the blue

Step 1: get a doctor’s degree in rocket science
it's really easy though
Great video Taeha. Can tell how much effort has gone into this one!
I think this is the only video that gives a beautiful idea about this hobby and how to get start with it..I haven’t seen one explaining this easily ..
The stabilizer demonstration was cool, but imagine the pain of popping in all the switches and PURPOSELY leaving one set of stabs out.
You are soo relaxing 🤠

Watched some of your stream and videos, this is really making me want to build my own Keyboard now just for fun sake. Thanks Taeha !
Thank you Taeha! I was subscribed to your channel a week back because i was looking forward to building my own mech keyboard. This inro video has been really informatiove !

I relatively recently joined the mechanical keyboard community and it was so insanely hard to get started. We need more videos like this to bring custum mechanical keyboards to the mainstream, just like custom PC's. There is way to few good quality tutorials on RUclips. Keep up the good work 👍
Nothing is inside of mine because every time I go to order components the group buys have ended and I get conned into buying another deskmat.
challenge: take a shot everytime taeha says "vast majority"
cant even explain how often i send this video instead of trying to explain the hobby. best video out there for helping new comers. you're the man, man
I literally cannot thank you enough for the effort you put in these videos and the google doc you provided in the bio, you're a life saviour ^-^
2:30 PCB isn't really a brain it's more of a neural system while microcontroller does all of the heavy lifting.

Ive known your channel since you had like 20.000 subs, just wanted to let you know that im very happy to see you grow so much and make such amazing quality content, keep it up :)
really love the animation in this video. so clean yet satisfying to watch.

Taeha Types regulars confused as to why he is explaining the basics of mechanical keyboards.
I do not like that thumbnail, makes me cringe
Really love the editing and I love the fact that the video has been kept simple as it should be!
I'm new to custom keyboards and this series is awesome and helpful, keep em coming!
You just helped me immensely, Taeha. I'm trying to start learning about mechanical keyboards and how to improve and customize my mechanical keyboard so thank you for this.
Thank you Taeha! I've been wanting to build my own Keyboard, and now I'm confident I won't mess up too many things ^^
just watched an entire video about stuff I already know and still enjoyed it to the max. Good work man
Great video! I enjoyed that switch chart
love watching your channel grow ma man. great video. exactly the info a newcomer would need. good job.
This video was SO GOOD! I shared it with a friend since we're both new to mechanical keyboards and want to upgrade our keyboard game lol. Thank you very much for making this video and amazing job to whoever edited it! :-)
Thank you so much. I've been watching hours of your videos the past few weeks. Currently waiting for the parts of my 60% (first build) to arrive. I'm sending this video to my friend...hoping to infect him with the keyboard bug too.
Great video! Please continue to make more of these! Really helps to get into the hobby
Thank you Taeha! This video will help so many people coming in to this hobby!

More of these! Very informative, especially for newcomers. The more into the hobby, the merrier 😁
Great quality and very informational and instructional, Please keep up this series.

Very beginner-friendly video, nice job Nathan!
Love the video man, good details and animations! This video is a great reference for beginners. I'm still waiting for my grey Tofu60 ⌨️
I have to say I LOVE the effort put in to the animations! They are crisp and clean! But the only thing that I would add is that you stick to a maximum of 3 colors. (the light red & silverwhite combo is fire)
this is a very good video since a lot of new people are getting into this hobby
Thank you for explaining everything in detail like this.
