Great to see you both back on the water, really nice coral trout ,that big one a cracker of a fish.Don’t know about the arm had difficulty with two good one’s trying to out fish the Boss 😂😂 .Looks like you might have to just keep him as a deckhand and driving the boat 😅can’t fillet ??? .Could almost taste that fish looked amazing 👍👍. Cheers Wombat 🐾🎣🐟
Thanks again for watching Wombat! I can cut up baits but don’t really want to learn filleting 😁 Might get stuck with cleaning the boat and the catch.. 😂 The one armed bandit has to earn his keep. We definitely be doing more of the frames from now on. So much meat wasted otherwise. Hope you enjoyed the longer one. 💜🥰
Another great video, and glad you're back to out there 🙂 Looking forward to longer days and more summer adventures. Thanks for the effort of downloading and excellent photography 👍 Have good one Good length episode Cheers 🍻
Huge thanks for another awesome video, you guys are a great couple, keep these trouts coming!!!🥰 Sorry to hear about you mum passing 😪and your arm trouble, hope it will heal in not time. Bought lots of Berserkers but have not tried them yet, waiting for this wild weather to come down a bit.
Thank you! Much appreciated. Same, we can’t wait to get back out! A little extra time on healing Eddie’s arm won’t hurt though. The Berserkers won’t disappoint! Eddie swears by them! 💜
We heard you out last week, we were with the Power Boat Anglers club week. Out in my 1992 Powercat. Got 2 trips in, I think the fishing is better this year than the last 2 years. Like your videos.
We had one of the 3m blocks on the back of ow cat but I cam of and went threw the prop so a good idea to put one screw in it just to be safe and don’t be like us just a warning
Ok, I’ll see how it goes. I had it reading pretty good in this location on the previous trip (session 30) until the mount came off. 😁 Thanks for the feedback, appreciated 👍
Glad to see you back and into it!! Another great video. How do you find the hook up with the single hook rig and ball sinker on top when bait fishing ? I have found that the same rig in a 2 hook snell rig with a glow bead allows the bait to be presented better and also a far better hook up? Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Snez loves that 8/0 Gamakatsu octopus circle with a running size 10 ball rig. I struggle to get her to try a different rig. Do you fish circle hooks when snelling two of them?
@@OBM1770 No mate i am not into the circle hooks, i usually use Mustard KL or similar and step down a size or 2, depending on size of bait as well. Can flick you a picture of it if that is easier. No swivel just snood hooks on straight to main leader line. You guys get great fish either way ! I reckon there is something in it as most jigs run 2 assist hooks ?
@@OBM1770 I have seen numerous coral trout with this affliction but only 2 species. The bar cheek or coastal trout and your common leopard trout. I am yet to see it on the Oceanic or Blue Spot Trout.
Hey guys what size beserkers are you using for what depth I've just ordered some 150 blood crays which ones do you prefer ?. Great vid to by the way as always.
The 150’s are great for up to 50m depending on run if just using un-baited jigging. You may need the heavier versions if your fishing heavy run, deeper water or using BIG baits to get them down. As far as colour goes, all four go off. We have caught good fish on all of them mate. We love em. Thanks for watching and your support is much appreciated. 👍 Let us know how they go!
top fishing session , well done guys
Much Appreciated, Thanks for watching!
Luv your videos
Thanks Scott, that’s is so appreciated 💜🙋🏻♀️
Sorry about your mum Eddie and Happy Birthday Snez

Cheers mate! Thanks for watching! 🍻👍
Welcome back :)
Thank you! Feels good to be home! 👍💜
Great Video guys but you are a naughty boy as if you have been told 6 weeks you should listen to the Surgeons or you could undo all their good work.😊😊
Nursed it as best as I could. Impatient, patient 😁
Definitely a nice day out on the water , good to see you guys get back out and boat a few 🎣
Thanks heaps Scotty! Definitely been too long! Already itching to go again! 👋💜

Cheers mate! 👍

Hope you got into a few! Were you out with Brendon Tait? Thanks for watching! 👍
@@OBM1770 Yep followed him around most of the time, hes got the new version of mine. Good luck with your injury.

Thanks for the heads up mate. Appreciated 👍
Nice work
Thanks mate! Been too long! 👍
The staff at Modern Marine electronics in Gladstone handle Raymarine gear and they are very good to deal with.
Thanks mate, I will give them a try if I can’t get it sorted. 👍
Pain killers and olives!😳
Haha, whatever gets you over the line .. 😁
I found on my cat the transducer went better on the outside of the hull cause it got to much disturbed water thru the tunnel at speed...!!
Ok, I’ll see how it goes. I had it reading pretty good in this location on the previous trip (session 30) until the mount came off. 😁
Thanks for the feedback, appreciated 👍
Check the cord you may have kinked or pinched a wire internally or even pulled a wire to cause a break...??
Well done.. Look after that arm mate
Cheers mate! She is on the mend.
where do I find a deckie like that? 😬 reckon she could be a keeper
Definitely 👍 🇦🇺

@@dp7148yeah my brother loves that rig. Always uses it with success.
The black markings on your trout are an indication of age. Mature trout can get this skin blight which eventually covers their entire body.
Thank you. We have caught a fair few of these over the years. Usually indicative of a new lump or rock we haven’t fished. 💜👍

That was the NW side of Fitzroy. Thanks for watching, appreciate your support mate. 👍
Sykes had some nice trout a few weeks ago as well

That trout as fin rot ...
It ate well. Did you see the guys from the qld museum’s response? I put it in description.
Yeah nothing wrong with the meat...
Snez helps clean the boat and the fish you lucky bugger. Does she have a sister?
Unfortunately not mate! Definitely a rare find! 🤙😁
How many gram jigs do you use?
Anything from 100-200g Paul. Really depends on depth, run, baited or just jigging. 100g is good for up to 50m in most circumstances. 👍
