So this one is your boat, Interestingly I have never thought about putting on a Lucky Bikini? maybe I should next time the fishing is tough? Not sure the mates will enjoy it though., I have been watching a lot of your videos and having a Ball Cheers Garry
@@OBM1770 We are in Brisbane at Narangba but we have bought a place at South Kolan so moving to Bundaberg so hopefully we might see you out there in the deep blue once I get the big boat, Going back to fishing in the winter months and Farming Fruit in the summer months. So looking forward to getting seriously into playing on the reefs up your way and out front from Bundy Cheers Garry Keep the great video's rolling, Hey I was watching your wife holding the rod one handed and I was off Mooloolaba and reached over to put it in the road holder as something hit it and it was heavy gear so it was a Bubbling pool trail out the back of the boat before I blinked so it brought back bad memories LMAO and that was only 30 years ago and although I can laugh about it today to stop crying hahahahahaha.
Magical day for it ,Smell that esky from here ,not an esky but stainless steel lined large freezer went Amay up the Murray for 2 weeks power tripped had 6 blocks Pilchards Bonito Squid and god knows what else Putrid. Mate need to get your self some White Matching Bikinis😂 Snez outfished you after the Bikini change over👍.Nice big red did redeem you abit😢. Great cooking again will try . Cheers Wombat 🐾🎣🎣👍
Use glitz pet bedding spray from Bunnings for the Esky. The label "kills 99% of odour causing bacteria" caught my eye when I was trying to figure out what to use on a particularly bad bait Esky. Wash it out then spray the inside liberally and leave it a couple of days, repeat as needed. Works a treat.
I cleaned the 40L Engel out in the back of my Ute after fishing, and turned it off not knowing i still had an open bag of mullet sitting in the bottom of it. A week later i opened the fridge and my god was it bad. Cleaned it multiple times with disinfectant and it still took mayb 3 months for the smell to dissipate so i feel your pain.
Another great episodes guys, loved Snez going off when she lost that fish, she is a gem, (so are you Ed) I went out on a three day overnighter about 15 yrs ago from 1770, I think it was Captain Cook charters, I wish you were the skipper of that boat Ed, the skipper we had was a cranky bugger and we all wanted to return after the first night.
Thanks heaps mate. She’s definitely my unicorn 😁. I first went on that old steel hull ‘James Cook’ when I was 13 years old. Slow old thing. The owner and skipper back then was Des. He had to make a run for it from a forming tropical low. The only time in my life I’ve been sea sick! 😁 Thanks for watching mate & your feed back make the effort worthwhile. Cheers 🍻
Top notch day again thanks guys,,,, Ed loved you called it a Moses perch, everyone else calls it a fingermarks or some other snapper,,, loved the baked fish, that's how I prefer all my fish cooked,,, at home, not that I catch too many fish nowadays,,, got my durahubs,,, fitting them this week,,,, thanks for all the tips, no idea about that transducer,,,, hope it's no too difficult to re route a new one, and honestly I can't believe Wilson didn't clean that esky,,, take care guys and I doubt that first bikini gets another fishing trip with your pirate mouthed deckie
Give the stub axles a good sand with a piece of super fine paper and make sure you use a set of oil seals (with the springs in them) for the inside seal. I also use lock seal (lock tight type product) on the actual durahub before tapping home. Yeah fingermark is a different fish usually found a bit further North and can get real big. Love to catch one. Thanks for watching mate. Ps, the 🏴☠️ says thankyou too. 😁💜🍻
Hi mate go see old mate at angler boats in bundy ask him for to make u a peace of fibreglass box section then epoxy glue that to ya pod and screw in to the box section easy mate .
Great video once again. Too close is when you can have a conversation with them without yelling. We were out in the middle of nowhere on our own, then this huge charter/game boat turned up and started fishing beside us when we were at the end of a drift, so we drifted for a further 500m or so. I think we asked them for a coffee and a shower then proceeded to set up another drift nowhere near our previous drift line - yep they followed us then steamed off after 5 minutes of catching nothing.
What a great day on the water in a beautiful part of the country and some nice fish as well, top stuff mate looking forward to the next one. I would go for a thru hull transducer if it's possible on a cat as they work incredibly well mate cheers Yogi 👍🤘🇦🇺
Here's one for ya. my neighbour. Holiday house. didn't come down for a month. his daughter turned the power off when she left, chest freezer full, bait fridge, full house fridge full. i was thinking f...k Erick might have topped his mother in law and left the country. Nah just really off fish.. wish e had.
Enjoyable vid to watch guys 👍 banta was just as good as the fishing ha ha ,at 6:50 was gold with technical difficulties 😂 and the fishing ethics from other boat was not to bad I've had boats I've had to push off from my bow drifting right on top of me the ocean is a big place so it definitely dose not need to happen , the sounder block is just nasty must of had a small air intake behind the block to allow the water pressure in behind it mate .
Thanks for watching! She was definitely pretty disappointed with that sharking! 😂 Some of them certainly pretty rude. I’ve come up with a more permanent solution. We get the grinder out in our next Sesh! Stay tuned… 🍻👍
Best way to wake up on a Sunday, thanks guys 💜 I feel for you Snez, the sharks are beyond a joke nowadays. So many good fish are lost to them. Always crosses your mind when you hook the boat on, is it worth going? Always worth it but, a day in the water.
@@OBM1770 I know. That why I’m spewing. Caught my PB Red on that rod @13.9kg and heaps of other quality fish. Can’t believe they stopped making them. The newer versions don’t look anywhere near as good
Worst mistake ever, new boat, first trip and i found the only problem i had with that boat, the 1 and only place a fish coul get near my bilge, 4 days later unscrewing flòor, removinging fueltanks and multiple flushing s and out popped a 55cm trout,
You realy only have two ways fwd one is a through hull transducer or the other is fiberglass a block on your transom and screw into that i have seen sika and other simler products let go if the surface is not keyed up or contamants are presant a local shipwright should be able to point you in the wright direction .
Wow ! awesom vid and absolutely loved the cook up...looks like the best meal ever .
Yeah mate, pretty hard to beat a whole baked trout! 👍 Thanks for watching mate.

Just on fishing etiquette, on the Gold Coast in macky season there would be 5 boats between you and that other boat.

What weight Terez is Snez running? I just snapped my 30-60lb last weekend after landing a Spanish. Spewing.
All of our Terez are the lightest of the three actions available in those white versions. They are no longer available unfortunately. Good rods.
