Turns out the AI in this game was made near flawless by accident so I have to be completely perfect just to beat them. I just show every track that is original to this game
that was the best part of this game, it didnt matter if you were playing with friends or with the AI,,, both were very hard to compete against.
The secret is to always use the pylons on turns. This looks like you were learning how to play as you recorded it.
@@barbsfpv3066 oh yeah, just set the difficulty to master while im learning how to play. sounds plausible
Should've picked Wild Ride. I sucked at racing games as a kid but never lost with her.
@@eljay2121 GOD, RACING AGAINST ENIGMA FUCKING SUCKED LMAO
The nostalgia is overwhelming 😭
I found I game store today that sold me a refurbished ps1 and this game for under 50 bucks. I want to brag and be silent at the same time. I'm in love.
I just got this in front of my face today from a store I never knew existed next door to where I work. I'm flipping shit.
I hope you feel just as nostalgic 6mo later.
Yep. Jet Moto, Loaded, Resident Evil and EA sports. Nostalgia overload.
Yes it does 🥲
The heaven & hell level! My god, the nostalgia.
I remember putting the game disc is a cd player so I could listen to the track wherever I went.
Yes sir
My dude... what a track
This seriously needs a remake.
Ikr 😭 I enjoyed this game as a kid
me tee
Yes!!!
Absolutely.
I mean we’re getting a port on ps4 and ps5 soon
YO THAT MENU MUSIC STILL HITTIN TO THIS DAY, ALSO THIS GAME WAS FRUSTRATING AS HELL LMAO
Nebulous still haunts me
Lmao I know right! That menu music slap so hard. And all those turns I died so many times u have no idea
very
@@TonyKnight1208 same!
@@kookiemonster3126 😅
For the longest my siblings and I couldn’t think of this game. This is nostalgic 😭
When's the last rime you played it?
Miss these old games where your reward for winning is the start menu.
Yep n Is ur profile pic supposed to be the lost boys lol
I have had the map Nebulous stuck in my head since I was 6 years old. After around 2 decades I've finally found out what game its from. Nostalgias a hell of a drug.
Same. Nebulous is the one I remembered. Crazy. I recall the classical music as well. Very pleasant, and the rock. Maybe why I enjoy both genres to this day.
I love the soundtracks in these SingleTrac games, especially Twisted Metal 2 and the first Jet Moto.
Good times !!!!
Yep twisted metal 2 was a good one to
My god, my sister and I spent HOURS of our summer break playing this back in the day!!
hearing the out of bounds wall unlocked the memories. I rode that wall everyday as a kid
So many memories.
Thank you for going over everything. Even the riders~
Agreed! 👍🏾👊🏾
But they didn't do the alternate tracks D:
OMG this game frustrated the shit out of me, but I still kept coming back like some sick deprived masochist. lol. I was pretty new to the series, so I had no idea I had to use the electro grappling line for those sharp turns. But even so...my God. It's sooo hard. Not just because the AI is nearly unbeatable, but some of the jungle maps are very confusing. They are a mess. It's too bad, because the Jet Moto series looks really compelling and fun to play.
Loved this game! Yeah an I couldn't figure out the grapple either myself. once you learn that it helps but still it takes a bit to get use to it. but once you get he code for enigma it was over lol
The third game was made much easier and more accessible for actual humans to play. I’d say go with that one, even as a kid I was able to put do the cpu easily
the map makers could have done a better job of not putting things in the middle of your road with little chance of avoiding them when you're hurtling towards them at such high speeds. Next, the turns should be more parabolic due to the low turning ability of our vehicles. I played this title, I remember around 1999, when a good friend brought it to me and lent it to me. I was also annoyed by the map design, bad vehicle physics, and those force field pillars that helped us navigate corners - an admission of the limitations of the PlayStation console. But I also think another company would have done it better.
This game randomly popped n my head the other day and now here I am lol What a game this was! I loved it when I was a kid. That rollercoaster and nebulus map were my favorites
seeing this after 20 years almost makes me cry. thank you for posting this. im lost for words
Finding this on the ps1 demo disc made me want the full game when I was younger
So many great memories playing this game. The nostalgia is real.
Same
Absolutely legendary game. Good old days.
When my father gave me the PS1 for my birthday, it came with 20 games included, this was one of them. (Also a lot of golden games included haha)
One of the best games ever. Was hoping for a 'remake' with updated graphics for like 15 years. That or a gnarley movie could be made out of this game. That's my dream. #jetmotomovie
damn i used to play this to the point that i had unlocked everything and still went to try for months to beat personal records. loved this game as a teen.
Ahhh Single Trac, the creators of the first two Twisted Metal games. I still remember there was a code for a battle arena based on one of the tracks from this game.
Man this is my childhood. Me and lil bro use to game our ass off on the original PlayStation. It was Jet Moto, Crash BanditCoot, Odd World etc. The good ol days.
Oddworld! I won the PSM contest for Abe's Exodus by sending in Polaroid photos of the bonus screens on my TV through the mail. No notification saying I won, just a box of crap shows up a month later and 3 months later they list me at the end of the magazine. Was a different world back then!
@@andyhendricks11 All man that’s what’s up, oh you were gaming gaming. Yea man, videos games back then hit different. I guess because that was our childhood so it was so much fun. I’ve always been a PlayStation guy. I got the PS4 with plenty of games and barely touch it.
a jet moto remake would be so awesome in 2023
Why is it that online multiplayer is now a huge part of games now but we have no good classics to play like Twisted Metal, Vigilante 8, Motor Mayhem, bloody roar etc.
Twisted metal on ps3 flopped pretty hard... but I liked the game and I still have it
OMG Vigilante 8! I remember that game! The lens flare effects in that game were pretty spot on.
This was the first game I got with my PlayStation in 1998.
This game definitely unlocked a few memories
Ahhh Mach Schnell, the best Racetrack and OST Nebulous have a great transition racetrack, thanks for uploading this 😍🎉🎉
Takes me way back. Loved this game.
The nostalgia is real..that main screen track was and still is straight fire and has the same energy as the OG MMPR theme. Thank you for this upload!✌❤
this was by far my favorite ps1 game along side spyro and crash and rocket power i cant believe its as old as i am thats crazy! it came out in 1997 same year i was born xD lol
lol damn i forgot about this game! i remember in jet moto 2, it was possible to unlock all the tracks from the first one. been years since i last played. i need to dust off the old ps1 and visit all the old titles i got.
I loved this game like 20 years ago. Thanks for putting it on youtube!
Yeah it was fun
This game was my childhood
This game ruled... thanks for uploading the video! 😂 my 4 older sisters and I loved to play this!
This brings back so many memories from my childhood. Thank you
“Hey, move it !!” 😂 the Arctic board was my fav and the Mountain Dew driver was my go to !!
My mom and I used to play this game! She said it reminded her of flying in her dreams.
On master difficulty, some tracks were hard to win on (Slickrock Gorge, The Shaft, Ka-Ma-Te), some were REALLY hard, if not impossible, to win on (Meltdown and Hot Shot), but the other five were usually possible to win on, given you didn’t mess too bad. It made it pretty easy to win the Full Season, granted that no one of the other racers finished in the top 2 every race (which only happened to me once ever).
Thank you so much for posting. This game is very nostalgic! I still remember the maps.
Spazbo4 your timing is amazing. A friend and I were just trying to remember the name of this game. I haven't thought about jet Moto since it was a new game so must say good show ol bean!
This was probably the first game I ever played or owned on ps1. I remember how smooth the controls were but it was still very difficult to win. I was so little, had to have been at least 4 years old playing this. I had no idea what I was doing I was just play. Go in the sky go off track use all the” special gas” what I used to call it. Amazing. This game brought me back hard.
The first track i remembered i used to sing " jet, jet, jet, jet moto" to the main guitar melody. And i had my whole kindergarten class singing that shit and drawing lil jet motos racing. Which were just different colored " plus signs" between to squiggly lines meant to look like the map layouts like they show before each race.
I forgot how insane some of these courses were
I love the double entendre of Wild Ride's bio lmao. so well written it almost sounds like theyre talking about racing.... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The graphics and physics improved some from the first one- I remember! OMG and these stages! Brings back memories! Thanks LPA :)
Forgot about this game for 20 years lol. definitely remember the 2nd map jumping off the broken plane wings
im 40 yrs old and this use to give headaches, but i love it graphic and the audio lmao
Swamp courses from first game low key have been the backdrop for my nightmares since I was a kid.
Ive been looking for this game for so long. Me and my brother played it all the time.
I believe I still got this game and my PS1 lol.
Oh my god!!! 😱🤭 I used to play this game so much! I'm getting in my feelings. wow This is so nostalgic 😔 Yall remember the Jackie chan ps1 game to lol that was my shit. I Need to buy these games again
awesome game. brings back memories. also if you do stunts, usually roller coaster map and forgot what others where you can do back flips, front flips, side rolls, etc, you'll hear like a "aaaauuu" after you land in like a impressed voice, which you did at 39:34. wish i can play this game and others, such as roll cage, turbo prop racing, nfs3 hot pursuit, nfs high stakes, medievil, 40 winks, crash bandicoot series and others i cant recall.
I remember doing tricks in the air. Like barrel rolls and flips etc. should give it a try next time you catch big air.
The level with the broken bridges was the best for it, plenty of air time
One of my favorite games growing up. I think I was 6 when I got this. My favorite was that heaven/hell track.
I was five; winning on this game.27 now still think about this game gonna find it ND buy it so I can play!
Yep same I'm 27 now to. I was thinking of buying all the games ps1 I use to play
Bro race me this shi made me so nostalgic im 27 i was 5 too haha
I had a demo disc with this game on it, and I used to play it for hours. I think the only track you could play was Meltdown, and I would just go down to the end of the track, where there’s that little island in the middle of a lava rock bowl, and I would just ride around in there, marveling at the physics. Haha
I feel like this awesome game is a giant bottle of Mountain Dew that gained sentience. That was the correct sponsor.
The second is by far the best PS1 game of the 90s. It’s much fun since the original.
I’m still waiting for these to exist in real life!
Thanks you, I needed this
I remember an all silver rider and that enigma stage. I think it was a code or unlockable. Great game!!
This was the first racing game that I fell in love with.
The music on this game is still dope!
There was a spot on Arctic Blast where you could jump and then double jump off a rock to get stupidly high air. We would spend hours going back and forth hitting it to see how many flips we could do.😅
Lord almighty I feel 7 years old again….
Put so many hours into this game. Still chuckle that Mountain Dew is in game sponsoring a rider.
Ha, I forgot how cool this game is. Glad I got to play it as a kid. Wish I could play it again, but no PS1. :/
Wild Ride and Lil' Dave was my favorite
Don’t know how I got this game but I played it so much as a kid I miss the 90s man 😢
Just recently bought a copy (Jet Rider 2). Game looks sick.
Just like NES did for Nintendo , PS1 created so many cult classic IPs that Sony can revive for PS5 or future Playstation consoles.
Watching this makes me realize something... Destiny 1's Sparrow Racing League could easily be bit of a spiritual successor to this series if it was made into its own standalone spinoff.
1:16 That's pretty cool Dr. Disrespect is in the game.
One of the best games I ever had on the PlayStation 😂
So this is where gta got the oppressor mark 2 from. Im glad I kept my PS1 and still get to play this game to this day.
Arctic Blast reminds me a lot of the Antarctica stage in TM2, the environment and the same skybox, also the song theme when it starts
The Track known as the Shaft always gave me anxiety, so many ways to fall off and lose place in that track
Child's play compared to Nebulous.
jet moto ps1 was where it was at, no fucks given
We need a remastered version
I miss this game ..:((
Loved this game!!!
My favorite one. Such a good game.
i loved this game so much.
I love this game.
Old memory unlocked 🥹
That bgm in the main menu though 👌
Loved this game.
The good days 😌
These are the feels man...
Use to play this hours with out end
*used to
Me to 🤭😩
Tony Knight *too
@@ZBR_ProXP Lmao 😂😂 u got me.
Oh wow i used to play this when i was 7. Now im 27 lol memories
Awesomeness
Just here for the main menu music 🔥
first video game I ever played, damn
You probably don't notice, but the graphics for this game are VERY VERY good for PS1 standards. Just look the draw vision. It is very far. The controls, however, are very difficult, I wish they would be less "physic", and more flexible. Camera also, not the best
Gah loves this game unlocked everything including the enigma rider speaking of which were is he ? Lol and all the lvl was the best gah we need a remake or a remaster anyone with me
1:31 Li'l Dave, the best rider. 👍
Absolutely! Fast and agile, he destroyed tracks!
Lil Dave horribly sucked. He was much too light. One teensy bump and he falls off. You need The Max or Vampeera.
This game was so good
El Waverace de PSX? 🤔
D-pad and L1/R1 are disabled for me on PS5 version. Any tip?
