- The Hive Bedrock server finally did it! The SG Update, in it's preview form, has been released, and I, among many others, tried it out. In this video, I tell you everything you need to know about the update - things like the new items added, like the activity tracker, launchpads, and teleporters - and give you my thoughts on the hive survival games update as a whole.

I did a 1000 IQ play with the boom box
Someone was running away and I threw a boom box in front of them and they flew back and I was able to kill them from there. I'm a cool boi now

A fun thing to do is throw a boom box when someone is organizing their inventory or looting a chest
Nah mine was better I threw a boom box and it missed by five miles
I'm so glad this got it's needed revival! This is a fun game and this should really make a difference.

I’ve done this crazy play with a boom box in SG
I was running away from someone with half diamond and placed a blindness boom box down, then ran straight round him, he didn’t see me and I ran through the teleported he chased me through

Personally I would like to see beta mobile matchmaking as soon as possible. I say beta because not many mobile players play sg due to always matching in games with sweats. For example I’d consider myself a slightly above average mobile player but I still only have a 3.2% win ratio. I think by adding mobile or device based matchmaking sg would become more popular and would almost feel like a completely new game. (For the people it effects)

A cool feature with the standard boom box is you can perfect time to launch yourself, so if someone wants to run until death match then it can be used to launch you towards them and get the kill
Survival games is now one of the most under rated games now. I also agree that they should change the food mechanics, maybe add some sort of suspicious stew could be a good addition

I love the cobweb Boombox so much. It’s the most op thing in sg. I had like four of them and in dm I three all of them and the whole arena was covered in cobwebs

most of it is similar to Galaxite's Chronos like tiered chests , Launchpads and Flares ( known as time warps in chronos )
But i guess its still a bit unique and love the activity tracker

My two main problems with the update are with the launch pads and boomboxes. I like the launch pads, but I specifically have a problem with the ones that launch you up to tier 2 chests. To me, those always felt like they were up in those places so that they would be harder to get to, but now almost all the difficulty in reaching them is gone. The boomboxes are good as well, but I think there are too many of them. The fire and cobweb boomboxes basically serve the same purpose as the poison and slowness boomboxes, but for some reason they’re separate. It wouldn’t be much of a problem if hot bar slots weren’t so valuable, but you can’t just have 5 of your slots all taken up by different boomboxes. I like the update overall, I would just say that they should remove certain launch pads that get you to tier 2 chests and the extra boomboxes that don’t serve a unique purpose

Finally! Sg will finally get 1k players. This is making me come back to play the hive
They should add crumbling cobblestone to sg so u can run and place blocks under ur self and slow enemies down, but it doesn't make the map un playable with too many blocks, and no one can skybase because of the 2 second time before the block breaks

in duos, food is valuable. me and my friend got to be able to go into the deathmatch, but we couldnt sprint or combo anyone because we didnt have food, and all the chest's before the deathmatch were empty.

They should make death match countdown drop quicks so the game wont take long, that's just my opinion, overall everything is wonderful updates and hopefully they'll be as good as hypixel does

This update looks really promising, it really added new life to the game. honestly its pretty hot.

Hive sg got changed alot i really think its going To be really fun to play the preview with friends plus why is evrey type of sg in featured severs are getting a update for exeample lifeboat sg officially came back out. Im Super happy hos hive sg update preview and it is way better there is one problem like still big map but it is really playable

I was on SG. Took a break as they updated. I failed to notice til I saw your stream. Sad.
Dont know if this is still a legit glitch, but I was playfully punching a friend on hive sg new lobby, but when the game started I hit at the exact second and he took damage, just a fun dumb thing (might not work anymore)
