@@TJackSurvival it reminds me of an old truck driver named “dink” who took the time to show me how to make cordage and what-not. He had the greatest stories and I learned more from him than I could ever learn from books/internet. My goal this winter is hand drill fire and quick tarp shelters. Thanks for passing on the knowledge.
I have a full tutorial series on my channel if you're interested! I go from gathering materials and plant ID to crafting the set to making fire. I don't cover compound spindles, however.
