This is an excellent review. 1. When you're walking/jogging near the front of the belt, do your toes/feet sometimes hit the powerbox/display of the treadmill? 2. What kind of warranty does it come with? 3. Aside from its app, can the info displayed on the treadmill be input into Apple's Health app? 4. Did it come with lubrication? 5. Can this be used on carpet? 6. Have you ever contacted customer support and were they helpful and friendly? 7. When the treadmill reaches the end of its life, will it be easy to recycle? Thanks.
Great review of the Kingsmith Walking Pad R2! I'm from India and just ordered one for 50,000 rupees. It's arriving next week, and I'm excited to use it for my long WFH hours. My main concern is post-purchase support. Since you've had the treadmill for about 2 years now: Have you ever needed to contact customer support? Do you have any contact information for them? How is the treadmill holding up with regular use? I noticed you mentioned not using it heavily, but I plan to use it quite a bit. Any insights on durability and support would be really helpful. Thanks for your detailed review!
It's used almost every day. Had no reason to contact customer services. I've had to lubricate the belt myself and adjusted the belt manually also. Other than that no issues
It's been good. Went through a period of no use and now being used again. I have had two incidences of cut outs. Code indicates this is a power surge protection. Not sure if that was a fault from the machine or my power outlet as the machine is being run off an extension cord. I've had no cause for aftercare
Awesome review!! Do you know if it connects to a smartphone, and if so, have you used this app? Is it good? Do you know if it counts steps? Thanks, and sorry about all of the questions..
Wow such a detailed unboxing review. Thank you. Could you please comment on the width? Do you sometimes accidentally touch the sides because of 17 inches width belt size? Or is it comfortable enough? I plan to buy this mainly for walking while using the desk. Also, unfortunately I am obese. I do not plan to run on it, but would like to walk. You think it would be fine? I am currently running comfortably on a 21 inch belt size width treadmill.
Thanks for watching. Never had an issue with the width. I think the maximum weight it can take is 110kg. My guess is anything over this would prevent the belt moving freely.
For the price point yes although as a walking pad. The ability to run is great addition but I'm not sure how durable it would be long term if you were heavier than i am. I walk on it for 1hr 2 to 3 x per week.
@@functionalwarriorworkouts2368 Thanks for replying to all the questions still now! I appreciated the early review and read all your follow up in the comments 😌
Hi, all are 8-feet pads adjustable? or are just the 4 ones on the foldable side? I got the treadmill once and had already returned it because one of the pads on the folding side was stuck and not rotating for height adjustment, I just got a replacement now but I wonder if all 8 feet have to be adjustable?
After seeing the marks it has left on the gym mat I am worried, I have a wooden floor. Do you think that with a thick carpet there won't be any problem? Thanks! super useful review!
Hello. Thank you for the great review. I was looking at the different Xiaomi walking pads and might just by one. but want to look at some reviews first. I have a couple of questions :) 1. I can see that they are all called Kingsmith. Is your model the R2? (it looks like it) 2. What do you fell about the length and the width of the pad when walking and running? i am afraid of buying it just to find that i keeps faling of when i walk and watch movies on the television :D 3. What is your experience after have used it for a couple of days?
Hi. Yeah i'm pretty impressed overall. 1. It is the R2 2. I find both to be good. Haven't had any issues with either. I have a fairly narrow stance but can't see it being a problem unless you were very overweight or just large.. But there is a weight limit. 3. Like i said. very happy. You can actually use a hack to set the pace faster than 3 with the bar down but i haven't felt the need. One issue you might have is the size of tablet use use if watching movies. I have a 7in tablet which fits perfectly but that it. otherwise you would be in portrait mode which would be poor.
@@functionalwarriorworkouts2368 thanks for a great review! can you share what the hack is to increase speed while bar is down please? thanks in advance!
Hello, Two questions if you don't mind: - You noted that the maximum weight tolerance was 110 Kilograms. Would this be ok to use at around 114 Kilograms ? - You mentioned that it got a little warm after a couple of minutes use. How would the belt handle sweat ? I live in a pretty warm & humid place in the summer, and I wouldn't want to turn this into a stink bomb . Walking or running shoes would be the solution there, right ? Thanks for the review . Hope your machine hangs on to hanging on ... ! :)
Hi. I'm sure it won't fall apart with an extra 4kg but I imagine it will increase the friction and wear and tear faster over time. They also provide some silicone lubricant which you might need to use more frequently. Hard to say about sweat and humidity.
Hey there. Do you still recommend this? Also do you think walking two hours per day would overheat it? I've read it in some review. Also can you share how often and for how long do you use it per day?
No real issues. A couple of times it's cut out mid walk but the error code referred to a power surge so not sure if it's the treadmill or my power outlet. I've also had to realign the belt which you can do yourself.
I have the older version of this machine which has been used 3x a week mainly at 8.5km for over 2 years without issue, Just remember to oil the board monthly,
NOTE: This product works exactly as described. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
Great review. Probably the first non-sales oriented review with real-life conditions taken into account.
Somebody opened the owners manual. Best review of this device.
Hi, thanks for the review! Now a year later how is it holding up? Do you still like it?
The walking function (handlebar down) is so that you can put it under a standing desk so you can walk and work 👍
I guess you could do that but i think keeping straight and not touching the sides would be difficult.
@@functionalwarriorworkouts2368 Actually really easy. The standing desk more or less replaces the handle bar.

Really good review! i just have a small question: how is it working after a year from your review?
It's still good although it hasn't had heavy use.
@@functionalwarriorworkouts2368how about now? Is it still doing good?
Can you store this vertically? I'd like to store it next to a standing desk. Great video, thanks for checking it out and the content!

How has it been after a few months? After a year? Do they have aftersales support?

Great review.. especially as you are used to working with treadmills..
Do you feel the gap in the middle?
Not really as you walk towards the front of the gap
Which is best walking pad R2 or X21
Hello! Does this have an incline option?
Nope
If I wanted to use this at a walking speed for 4-6 hours a day while working, do you think it could manage?
No, max use is only 1hr. You need to rest it 30min or more
All DC motor = 1 hrs
AC motor = unlimited time

Thanks! super useful review!
I would buy something to out under it to lift it away from the carpet. There are 6 or 8 feet total. Some hard wood coasters might do the job.
Is it safe use it without shoes?
It is safe walking but I wouldn't recommend unless you're used to walking barefoot. Running is much harder on the foot.
