- Transalp Demo Ride! It was LEGIT! This is 1/3 videos regarding the new #hondatransalp and the Demo Ride at the Bonnier Adv Rally and Camp. We outfitted the #transalp750 with the Nelson Rigg Hurricane and Trails End Tank and Tail Bags... and hit the desert! #deepsand was present and this bike did great. Plenty of adjustability, more than I expected. User mode not saving with the key off is disappointing.

I feel like it's only a matter of time before someone comes up with a hack for that. Clearly, Honda did this deliberately but perhaps the more people who complain, the more likely Honda will listen. I'm guessing they did it for legal reasons though, in which case I doubt they change that

Good times for sure. I was impressed. Looking at our footage … wanting to publish the full demo ride…. But there was too much Finn stuff to edit in … I didn’t have the time.
I recently acquired one and live in FL. Sand central... what tires did you run? which would you suggest? Ive been considering the Moto GPS and staying out of the deep stuff.
I would suggest the Motoz RallZ rear and Dual Venture front. Great combo! My sand ride on this bike (with Anakee Wild Tires) will release next week.
Hey quick question, how much heavier is the Mission rear tyre compared to a GPS? Looks like you're having a great time on the transalp
The GPS 150/70-18 rear is 1.5 pounds lighter than the Mission and the front 90/90-21 GPS is 2.5 pounds lighter than the Mission!
You can turn the tics and abs off completely in the submenu, but it will reset when you turn the bike off or switch out of user mode
Yeah, my 2 minute debrief was not effective ;) Need more time to explore the menu... Fun bike though!
I wonder when my TV remote will come with power, modes and traction control🤦🏻♂️

The demo ride was fantastic… coming up shortly. This was the Bonnier Adv Rally & Camp in Julian, CA this past weekend.
All the settings in user mode are reset once you turn the bike of with the key? Or only the „all off“ settings for TC and ABS?
All of them go back to “the presets” set at the factory.
