OMG $1900 to $2300 a month. You can get a central Florida 1800 square foot house for that including mortgage, taxes and fees. And you would build equity with every payment versus zero equity in a home.
With the market right now it really depends. Our home we bought in 2016 for 300k.the same lay out house just sold for 475k 2 doors down at 7.5 interest rate. And our rate is 2.5 big difference . I live in IL though.

Reams to 535 dead ends by Aldi and Publix at Summerport - that's where I'd love to live if not in delmarre, lots of parks out there, I'm more outdoorsy. Temp new place looks big, love the kitchen counter space - I love to bake cheesecake cakes and cookies alot and Italian food - rolling dough, so need lots of counter space, so I love it! Nice job moving and congrats!!! Downtown celebration and the walking paths over by Georgetown are nice. Welcome to the community

Congratulations. I live north of Ft Lauderdale FL and $2300 is a lot for a 1bdr apartment. I know of 2-3 bedroom houses that rent for that much, and townhouses that are in $1200-1500. Would hope you could find a house like you were looking for

If it were me, I’d live out of my suitcase since it’s only a couple of months. I’d leave anything I don’t NEED to live in the garage and not add anything to the apartment. No furniture. Whatever you get might not fit the new apartment or the style/color/etc of the new place.
Congratulations, it’s beautiful! I love, love, love the soft close cabinets and drawers! When I built my house 5 years ago, the cabinet company had a special where I got the soft close drawers for free but my cabinets aren’t soft close. I kinda I wish I would’ve paid extra for that.

I think you should just stay where you’re at and not move to the other complex. Unless the other one is a two bedroom for family and friends, then move, but there’s also a one bedroom I think you should just stay where you’re at.

Kyle: You should consider changing to a two-bedroom apartment. Joining Casey. $1,700-2,300 is so pricey expensive just for one bedroom. It’s really unfair they are forcing you to move out to a different room.
